Why We Need Positive Enforcement??
Positive Reinforcement
"All human beings work better when they get what psychologists call reinforcement. If you get constant rewards, even if you're Warren Buffet, you'll respond.... Learn from this and find out how to prosper by reinforcing the people who are close to you." - Charlie Munger
The secret to getting help is by giving help to others. The way to gets friends is to a be a friend. The secret to learning is to teach. The way to get people to excel is to reinforce positive qualities.
I find the quote above very interesting as I am currently reading about influence and behaviors. In one chapter they speak about the school system and why some students are destined to fail, while others are not.
One of the main culprits is positive reinforcement. When a student does well, the teachers give loads of positive feedback. When the students do well, they do not give positive reinforcement and thus sets up the kid to give up and not have confidence to pursue. This sticks with them from early child hood, all the way up until school completion. You may even keep that attitude and feeling your whole life.
We need to continue to build positive reinforcement from ourselves and stay around people who give it to us. To be around anybody who gives you negative energy, feedback, or just doesn't life you up is madness. This does not mean you can't hear criticism or your faults. You just need the following positively to continue to push your hardest and give it your all no matter what.
Do you think positive reinforcement matters to our success??
