📢New Era: Cars (Mercedes-Benz C)

The Germans have started a Mercedes-Benz C-Class overhaul, which will make the prestigious mid-range sedan more competitive. Outside there are some novelties, but there are a lot more in the interior.
 

Mercedes-Benz C was already a very good car before the overhaul, which even won on many benchmark tests. For the new model year, however, there have been some changes that will be externally quite mild and will be shown in the form of new bumpers and a bit of changed lights at the front and rear. The entry model will continue to illuminate road surfaces with halogen lamps and daylight with LED technology, and at the same time LED spotlight will be available.

Inside, the biggest innovation will be digital meters, which will be displayed on the 12.3-inch screen in front of the driver, which will be available at an extra charge. The entry model will still have classical meters, among which a 5.5-inch screen with important information. At the center of the dashboard, a 7-inch touch screen can be enlarged to an additional 10.25 inches, and the movement between the menus are on touch, through the control panel in the center console, and through touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel. Tracking is easily transferred from classes S and E. In addition, more comfort will be provided by the new ventilation system, which will have built-in fragrances, and the heated and ventilated seats will be available to the driver and front passenger, who will also be able to use the massage.

Under the engine cover, there are likely to be some new engines, most likely also a 2.0-liter turbodiesel, which is already available in class E and is known for its efficiency and smooth operation. The 1.6-liter force-charged engine, which produces 115 kW (156 hp) in the SLC 180, is also available at the petrol station, so the same power can be expected in the C 180. The Mercedes-Benz C is still available with rear-wheel drive, and a four-wheel drive 4matic (C 200, C 200 d) will be available at extra cost and the choice of a more powerful engine.
