AI Generated Content? What the ...?

100.png

Everyone should stop everything and copy and paste the post you've written today, and you will find your results.
Personally, I do not believe this https://www.zerogpt.com/ website. It produces false claims.

This is ridiculous.

kyle.png

I have been called out on this platform for an absurd false claim and I'm sure many other people have, too.
Go ahead, copy and paste your writing in https://www.zerogpt.com/. You will be surprised how false it is.
We need to come together as one and submit this to the top Steem Witness here on Steemit to stop the "Abuse Detectors" and their mistakenly claimed accusations at once.

Even @dobartim is supposedly 100% plagarized according to the zerogpt website, and I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS FALSE ACCUSATION that this "detector" is and the "detector" should be banned for false accusations.

I would appreciate it if my name were taken off the "blacklist" or wherever it is and remove the WARNING immediately. Because we are ALL innocent here. Every person on this list is INNOCENT.
@goodpost-kr and @jungjunghoon are innocent, too. They don't use AI, either.

100% means that AI wrote all of your writing. How do you feel after looking at the results?
A little pissed or upset, right?
(by the way, this list is a random list of people. Basically, I closed my eyes and picked random writers here on Steemit to see the percentage rate the "detector" found.

Results: 22/28

Who believes @dobartim used 100% AI? I don't believe the zerogpt site to be the best tool for trying to "detect" ai and plagarism. @dobartim is the best of the best on Steemit. He doesn't use AI.
Let's all respect each other and our writings. Let's remove the ridiculous accusations. All of us have been on Steemit for like 4 or 5+ years or something. Let's get real. None of us use AI to write our posts. Let's stop this nonsense at once. I hope I made my point clear.
Have a good day, and see you in the next post.

Sort:

I don't necessarily agree that all of the accounts in that list are consistently posting human generated content or that there's no use of AI going at all - even among longstanding community members. But I do agree that a single report from a single site is not enough to be anywhere near certain.

I have, informally, adopted rules something like this when I curate in Popular STEM:

  1. Give people the benefit of the doubt. If I'm not confident that it's AI generated, I assume it was created by a human.
  2. Get feedback from multiple detection sites (currently, I use 4 of them)
  3. Look for patterns of repeat behavior. If multiple AI checkers are triggering, consistently, on multiple posts by the same author, it's much more likely to be correct.

Also, I agree with this comment from @chriddi. The use of online translators makes it even more difficult to be sure, because they probably use the same sort of statistics that AI large language models use in order to perform the translation.

A final point that I have grappled with: if we can't tell, does it matter? The point of content creation is to bring human attention to the blockchain. It could be argued that rewards should go to the posts that do that best - perhaps without regard for whether they were created by humans or not. I'm not ready to make that argument. It just feels wrong. But I don't have a strong refutation, either.

It just feels wrong.

It is!

Remember that with every user you attract with such opportunities, you also lose one who is simply disgusted by it.
How many users have we lost because of HRoI services? Many!!! They just couldn't stand this unbalance, these high rewards for spam (which immediately catches the eye of every newcomer, while their own painstakingly crafted posts are no longer seen)...
But no, how polemical - these are the best, most honest (daily) bloggers of the platform...

It is!

I should note that there's clearly an ethical argument against posting AI content under the pretense of being human-generated. I was thinking purely from a utilitarian perspective.

Remember that with every user you attract with such opportunities, you also lose one who is simply disgusted by it.

This is a good point.

I have seen a couple of posts on this lately. These people need to use their mind and just not go with the auto results. I believe that all posts which has majorly psychology related content gets picked up as AI content. So even if few words match, which will ideally be for 99% of the posts, it will show as AI content. Even my content shows 15% whereas the fact is that I am not even aware of what AI tools and links provide this type of information. The people who are monitoring this need to put time and effort in reading the posts and recognizing if it is a possible AI content or not. Content where personal references are made and experiences are shared will not be AI content.
Yes, it is a matter of respect for each one and at the same time mutually and cordially tackling this situation with the watchers.

|... and the "detector" should be banned for false accusations.... |

I mean the detector tool zerogpt.com should be banned, just to be clear (not the person)

Holy! who made this? i tested with my post, then it says 100% AI generated.

What do we do about this situation?

https://steemit.com/hive-192912/@fly-dragon/plagiarism-and-ai-content-report-by-fly-dragon-date-11-04-2023

Now the question is.... why is it that when I tagged all these people, no one received the MENTION in their notifications? Has it been turned off?

Apparently, there's a limit for how many mentions can be included in a post that determines whether or not the notifications get sent. See this post from @moecki.

I see. I did not know this. Thank you for the link and information.

You're welcome. Until that post, I didn't know it either. It was a lucky coincidence that he posted when he did.

Please go to our abuse watcher's discord server and say what you wanna say in appeal channel .

And you shouldn't be too much crazy . we may wrong about your case but NOT in most of .
