SeanyTravels (Japan-Fukuoka) #18 The Magnificent Huis Ten Bosch Part 7 - Night Lights & Goodbye~

in #japan6 years ago (edited)

It's part 7 and the Final part of my Huis Ten Bosch segment!

Like what I had said in the first part of this series, Huis Ten Bosch is super huge so there's really too many things to do! Plan your journey beforehand and you'll be able to cover much more ground than me!

In this last part, before returning my duo-bicycle, we went to Domtoren, the tallest building in Huis Ten Bosch, where you'll be able to marvel at the park from the top. It's really beautiful there when you see it in person, and because of some reflection in the glass panels, these pictures don't do it justice.

I believe that Domtoren is the replica of the Dom Tower of Utrecht, the tallest church tower in the Netherlands!

We waited to take the lift up!

It's really hard to capture the bird's eye view sight of the park with the glaring reflection in the glass. Also, it's at night, and my camera back then was not really able to capture great night shots, so I do apologise for the photos below.

You might not be able to see from the photo, but there was a really nice illumination effect at the bridge and river. They did some animation across the water body and you could probably only see it from Domtoren.

We left Domtoren and walked around some scenic spots in the park to snap some final few photos.

This is one of the better shots we managed, and there it was a really nice sight to behold as the illuminations were all turned on.

I went back to check out the village with the Big Clog and briefly struck a pose!

As we made our way to the exit, all the buildings around were lit up and the colours kept changing. With soft music playing in the background, we felt happy yet sad that we had to leave already.

If you do recall the Windmill at the start of the series, here is how it looks like in the evening!

We had alot of fun at Huis Ten Bosch. There are a million things to see, to eat, to play and to enjoy. It isn't a typical Amusement park with scary roller coaster rides or haunted houses for the Adrenaline Junkie, but if you are looking for a place to have a good, relaxing time, you must visit Huis Ten Bosch.

If I had to recommend one place that you need to go throughout my Japan-Fukuoka Series, it would be here, although it isn't really near Fukuoka.

We eventually had to leave to catch our last train back to Fukuoka.

What a memorable day as we dozed off on the comfortable ride home...

A stunning view, especially if you are up in the church having a birds eyes view of the place. The colourful ferris wheel looks beautiful. Upvoted!
