digital technologies like blockchain are rapidly changing the way we live, exchange information + assets and interact with each other. I think STEEMIT is an amazing application and one step forward to move torwards a decentralized economy. We should move away from centralized corporations that accumulate our data and earn billions with it - blockchain puts the power back in the hands of the people.

Hello and welcome to the steemit community! I just joined yesterday myself and are looking to connect with more people here! If you're interested you can see my introduction post here.
Oddly enough I am currently working with a project on the Alps myself (I.E how new satellite solutions can assist mountain search and rescue services) so I get to travel there a lot, which is a real pleasure!!
Anyways I have given you an upvote and a follow, and hope to stay connected with you on this growing and exciting new platform! Who knows, maybe we'll go skiing or hiking in the Alps one day?
