Hello fellow truthseekers, welcome to my steemit.

As you may have gathered from the title, I am a rogue journalist. Your first question is probably, well what does that even mean? I guess the best explanation my brain box can conjure up at this hour is: I am not owned by any media corporation, I do not write on behalf of any organization, I have no connection to any state. As a rogue journalist my allegiance is only to the objective truth, my loyalty to the facts, my judgement based on observation and logic. I write to reveal, and occasionally to debunk, but never to coerce or propagandize. Simply put, I exist to seek out and publish truth, to scrutinize those forces which exist to deny the world of truth, to use truth to dismantle narratives built on falsehoods.

So, what are you doing here?

Well, a bunch of things, which I guess I will list for you now:

• In depth coverage of under-reported news - which will take the form of video broadcast and/or articles. When I say, "under-reported" news, what I mean is news which does not fit the dominant, mainstream narrative, and so often goes without coverage. 
• Debunking of mainstream narratives - in some cases, the mainstream narrative becomes so dominant that a thorough, non-partisan debunking needs to occur. For example, the #Russiagate narrative, although it has no basis in fact, no evidence to support and is mostly held together by rhetoric and ratings (see: CNN, NYTimes, WaPo)  it is currently being aggressively pursued by the so-called "liberal media". If there is a narrative being pursued by the mainstream media, that doesn't seem to hold up to evidence based scrutiny, I will debunk it in video format for your viewing pleasure.
• Insights into/regarding the Propaganda Model - Largely attributed to Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky, the propaganda model seeks to explain how populations are manipulated and how consent for economic, social, and political policies is manufactured in the public mind due to this propaganda. The model posits that the way in which news is structured (e.g. through advertising, concentration of media ownership, government sourcing) creates an inherent conflict of interest that acts as propaganda for undemocratic forces.  It is my sincere belief that understanding this model is enough to inoculate consumers of news against the mind-virus that is state/corporate sponsored propaganda, and so I will endeavor to delve into it in some posts.
