Hello Steem

I joined the movement due to my recent interest in crypto-currencies. How I got involved with that was being introduced to a matrix platform that help your earn Bitcoin in a matrix earning platform. Long story short, I got involved, researched Bitcoin, then other cryptos. watched hours and hours of videos from various people, including @dollarvigilante and Chris Dunn. Came across a video by @jerrybanfield and thought I'd try this Steem thing, and here I am... But that is how I got here...

About Me

I am a 37 year old married father, will be 8 years 12 December this year. I have been in the employ of the local municipality in Cape Town, South Africa. We have been outperforming all of the other municipalities in South Africa, so we must be doing something right.

This is myself, my wife and my 4 year old son :-)

You will notice discoloration in my left eye. his was due to an injury sustained when I was 6 years old. Long story, but in recent years I have come to realise that my eye injury actually saved my life. Maybe I'll type out the story if you are keen to hear/read it :-)

Aside from working a 9 - 5, I have been in the process of starting a photography business to generate extra income. Which is also why I joined the matrix to earn Bitcoin. Its been up and down and I have gigs here and there that I cover, but not enough to get me to where I want to be. Where I want to be is #bossfree, I have always felt that I am bigger than working a 9 - 5. My time is worth more than I am remunerated and that time is filled with me having to report my whereabouts to another human being. This human being then persists in exercising authority over me because of a little something called entitlement.

I am an amature on the Bible, but I am sure it mentions we are to treat each other as equals. It goes on to say that we are to live life in all its fullness. i don't think 1 - 2 hours a day of travelling to a place to sit behind a desk for 8 hours to travel another 1 - 2 hours to get home, cook clean and see to the family and then flop into bed exhausted, only to repeat the same tomorrow?? for 40 years?? NO!!! My life must have more significance than this...

That's me, in short of a nutshell... I am in the process of learning more about this platform so I may spread the word to my fellow colleagues and friends so we can get Steem to the place it should be. Everyone on Facebook and Twitter post daily and increase the revenue of the platform, lining the pockets of a select few. The program helps everyone I salute you @Dan & @Ned. I shall promote this platform to all I meet.
