The Affects of 2 Marriages on a Child - My Life's Story - Introduce Yourself

Hi Everyone!

My Name is Yasir and I am from Lahore, Pakistan. I just wanted to introduce myself to the steemit community and for that purpose I am going to give you an insight of my life story.

It all started when I was a kid as I had no fatherly figure to idealize from when growing up because he was away trying to feed his family. My mother who just wanted me to achieve something big in life and it wasn’t just a motherly emotion that made her think like that. In fact, I was actually pretty good as a kid as I got 1st grades every year growing up, but before she could witness anything great she died in 2003 leaving her 15 year old son (me) in the hands of a father with whom I was unfamiliar and to add up we didn’t go well with each other.

After only a month after my mother passed away I started feeling the harshness of life when I had a fight with my father over the phone and my mother wasn’t there to back me up this time and from then it is like that ever since. In fact, now it’s almost been 5 years since I talked to my father as we had a really big fight before my wedding which he never attended. Well to cut it short, all my fights with my father was centered on 1 thing and one thing only. He thinks my mother intentionally implanted negative emotions in me against him as he betrayed her by marrying another lady in Japan.

But no, it wasn’t her doing; I was furious on my own when I saw my mother weeping sitting alone in the dark corners of our house. She never wanted me to fight with him as she loved him even after the betrayal she faced. But, this unfortunate man didn’t understood her love and kept fighting me over and over stating that she wanted a revenge from him and she took it by implanting negative thoughts in me. No, she never did that.

Let me tell you a deep negative emotion that bruised my teenage, when she was on her death bed in the hospital. My father came with his other wife to visit her and then went to Dubai for honeymoon with her. This was something that infuriated me and turned me against him but this misfortune man never understood that. To cut it short I decided in my early teens that I will never do more than 1 marriage even if it fails. I was lucky enough to get a lovely life partner whom I will never betray in my life.

Now let’s come to my happy times.

Well these pictures of him are definitely not when he was born but I have these available at the moment so thought to share my tiny cub with you guys. Well I didn’t store his early age pictures the way I do now. Why? Moment of truth. He was ugly. lol

I didn't like what I saw when I saw him first but when I held him in my arms for the first time all of the sudden everything changed. I don’t know how to describe my feelings but I’m sure fathers here got my point.

Now let’s come to the part of what can I offer to the community? Well it depends on what I’ll learn from my life experiences. Not here to post on a particular niche or anything all that building some niche marketing bullshit. Just here to express myself and provide value to the readers as the only thing I craved the most throughout my childhood is respect.

Important Life Lesson

Respect is not something that can be bought rather it is an organic value that others associate with your personality or your work. I mean some fools think that they have bought respect by pressurizing the individual that is in need. How many of you have bosses who think the same way.
