What if a dog is writing a blog? Here is Marley🐕 new to Steemit and keen to get to know you
We all know that dogs unfortunately can not speak. Not in our language - let alone write. I still decided to give my dog a platform to share his daily experiences and feelings with you. Because I think it's important to put ourselves in our pets more often to understand them better and to be fair in dealing with them. Therefore, from the point of view of my dog, this blog will be written in Ego form. Let's give him the word:::
I'm very pleased to introduce myself on this amazing platform where people from all over the world are sharing their thoughts, feelings, great art, teachings and a lot more. I just wanna be a part of all of this and I know I have many things to share and maybe I'll be able to give you one or the other food for thought. Whoaa food? did I say food? Wait a moment I'll have to check if there is food around.....No nothing. Ok let's concentrate ...me ...telling you about me...sniff sniff really no food? I can't concentrate with the thought about food in my head...Ok let's do this: I'll give you a picture of me to look at while I'm searching a bit for food.....
Yess got a treat from the humans Im living with :). Now back to me. I was born in August 2012 in the capital city of Germany - Berlin. The first 4 monts of my life I lived with a very young human couple. But then something happened and they searched for a new home for me. A lot of people came to get to know me and one of them got the jackpot...me....yes I'm a very proud dog ;). I was told to only live 2 more weeks in this big city and then I would move with my new humans to the Netherlands to the countryside with a lot of green and woods ... enough space for me to play and run around.
This is little me on my first day at my new home in Berlin and my name wasn't Marley that time ..I was called Paco...I like Marley more ..sounds softer :)
Look at my big feet :)) ... Everybody said that I'm gonna be a very big dog. My father was a very very big Rhodesian Ridgeback and my mother an American Staffordshire. But I proved everyone wrong as I did not grow too much in the height ...I do not like these giraffe-like long legs like my brother got - I'll tell you more about him later .
Now back to my story ...We moved to the Netherlands and I was relieved of the stress I had in this busy big city Berlin.
Happy times ahead :)
I even got my own pool - but can you believe that...I had to fill it up with water myself!
Life was easy going and then that day in 2014 came they told me that I'm gonna have a big brother. Another dog in the house ...someone I can communicate with in my own language. I was excited to get to know the other guy. On christmas eve we went to pick him up as he really was in need of a home. And when I saw him I new what they meant with BIG brother ...I'm not that small but see for yourself :
When I bend down my head I can just walk beneath him. His name is Snoop and since that day we are living together :).
In 2015 we were told that we gonna move again to a new house. This time to the seaside of the Netherlands with a beach for us to run and play everyday. Very exciting times again but me and Snoop love it here. It's a dogs paradies :)
Life could be so easy, but almost every day you meet difficulties that you have to master somehow as a dog. And that's where my future plans are. To discuss with you about those struggles and experiences. Telling you about my feelings....about things I've learned or even things I have taught humans ;). That's the hardest part - interacting with humans so that they understand what I want to say.
My hope for this blog is giving humans a little bit insight and more understanding of our behavior and needs. Because I think everybody needs to know that there is no reason for hurting us or train us with aversive methods.
We are your best friends so be ours as well.
Furthermore you will read funny stories I experienced or I'm going to tell you a bit of my big brother who is getting really old and slow now.

Marley, no solo fue un simple comentario, desde que tu publicación tenia segundos. yo quería ser el primero en comentar y votar, pues lo hice, y como explique en steemit estaba fallando y no se publicó y como mi amo estaba nuevo no sabía cómo encontrarte, busque etiquetas de dog, dogs, animales, natura, etc. hasta que lo halle. Pronto publicare otra foto cuando estaba cachorra, pero en las etiquetas correctas. Bienvenido.
