Behold my blatant stupidity! Meredith takes on the super #hotpepperchallenge
Oh, about a month ago, @papa-pepper thought he'd be cute and issued The Super Hot Pepper Challenge. I swore I would never do it...
In fact, this was my response to his post:

But then people like @pulpably @matthewtiii and even the crew at @gardenofeden did it - and I thought...
Sheeee-it! If they can do it, so can I!
So, like a complete ass, I contacted @papa-pepper with my mailing address and waited for my peppers to arrive.

Yes. When people start expecting rewards they get frustrated. It's about as basic of advice as possible, but "have fun" really encompasses everything on steemit. If you are writing to make money and not because you love what you are doing, you'll burn out. If you love what you are doing, the money is a fringe benefit from sharing your passion and finding others who appreciate it too :)

All's well! I survived with the exception of a little @papa-pepper gas in the middle of the night. No harm to me but if we could bottle that, it might be an excellent self-defense weapon or bug repellent. LOL I kinda feel bad for my husband. tee hee.

Being over 12 minutes long, I really didn't think anyone would watch the entire thing, which I why I tried to keep talking. That last pepper though...I thought my whole digestive tract was going to melt. LOL

Thank goodness I'm recovered! And I don't want to see another hot pepper or another bowl of ice cream for at least a week. Unless it's green mint chocolate chip. I'll make an exception for that. LOL GURL - my guts were HOWLING last night. hahahaaa....

Eating a Ghost Pepper, a Chocolate Ghost, and a Carolina Reaper in one sitting is almost unheard, of, though I know several in my inner circle who are well practiced in THE WAY OF THE PEPPER.
I had to do it in one sitting or I would have lost my nerve. LOL
My Korean relatives would be proud. ;) They're always eating stuff that makes them cry. I lean more toward the Irish side...give me meat & potatoes. TYVM
