As announced on Sunday, the inaugural "The Hundred" tournament has now finished with Southern Brave being crowned champions. Along with it, @the-gorilla was crowned the winner of our Fantasy Tournament with @boss75 in 2nd and @abu78 in 3rd earning each of them a place in the WOX Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame.

After some huge scores in Gameweek 1, Gameweek 2 brought back some normality with popular captain choices Mo Salah and Bruno Fernandes blanking (3 and 1 points respectively). Whereas last season the FPL website helpfully allowed me to filter the league by gameweek, this season, they've decided to remove this helpful feature, instead opting for the far less helpful monthly view. So having cursed them repeatedly in my mind, I copied and pasted this week's league table into Excel which due to some cells being merged, wasn't as easy to sort as it should have been. Another cursing heading in FPL's direction. So I filtered the top 5 scores and can provide you with this...
Which means that @the-gorilla wins the 15 Steem for Gameweek 2 and an honourable mention to @avagah (Carl poppa) and @bibsonhabib (Bibson FC) who also scored highly. I don't have a clue who the other 3 teams are so they won't ever win anything. Too bad.

⚽ Fantasy Football Scotland Gameweek 3
Back-to-back 6-0 wins for Celtic has punished players who aren't on one of the Bhoys top players. In fact, 4 of the top 5 highest scoring players in the game are at Celtic so they certainly shouldn't be ignored.
@the-gorilla top scored for the 3rd gameweek in a row giving him a commanding 68 point lead at the top of the table. @kingworldline and @arahman have a bit of work to do from 2nd and 3rd positions.

⚽ Fantasy La Liga Marca Gameweek 2
In a low scoring La Liga weekend (with the exception of Levante 3-3 Real Madrid) that saw both Barcelona and Real Madrid drop points, it was @arahman who topped the gameweek scores with 71 points. I said before the tournament that he had a squad that I liked the look of and this is now translating into points. He'll have a nervy week waiting to see which release clauses are activated.
This solid performance moved @arahman up to 4th place overall, chasing @jimah1k, @chenty and @the-gorilla who are leading the way.
With La Liga listing loads of crap players in the transfer market, it could well be a case of looking at opponents teams as the only route to strengthen.

⚽ Fantasy Bundesliga Manager Gameweek 2
If La Liga was short on goals, the opposite can be said of the Bundesliga with 27 goals being scored across the 9 matches and it was no surprise to see Lewandowski in amongst the goals again.
It was a good week for @rubilu123 and @jimah1k scoring 113 and 112 points respectively which is keeping things tight at the top with @the-gorilla leading the way.

⚽ Fantasy Serie A Gameweek 1
Serie A is now underway with a feast of goals and red cards - 36 goals and 7 red cards across the 10 games. Many players chose to captain Ronaldo who started on the bench, came on as sub and got himself booked to score himself 0 points. A frustrating start for many which saw @jimah1k take an early lead in what turned out to be a low scoring gameweek.

I'd love to run even more contests for even more sports but I know very little about what make a good fantasy game for many American Sports. If this is an area of expertise, then provided that we can generate enough interest, I'd be happy to provide the prizes. I've written this post on the subject so please get in touch and help to make World Of Xpilar the go-to community for Fantasy Sports on Steemit.

🥎 I've found a good Fantasy Tennis website but the tournament's players are announced at fairly short notice which could make it difficult to administer. Please let me know if this is of interest and I can tag interested players when it comes to trialling it here on Steemit.

Things are getting very tough for me. I used my free hit and still didn't get enough points😂

I'd always recommend saving the Free Hit for a Blank Gameweek and the Bench Boost and Triple Captain for a Double.
I was deceived by Salah,Bruno and Lukaku😅. I'll keep this advice in mind for the others.
Lukaku's going to be amazing. I'll get him when Chelsea have that good run of fixtures. The international break could mess things up a bit, especially if clubs have to release players and then let the quarantine. It's a bit of a mess at the moment.
Lukaku did get his goal but Salah and Bruno were disappointing in gameweek 2. I've had Kane since the get go and now that he's staying I can keep him. It seems your curse has been broken.
Ha ha. I'm not sure it has! I had Aubameyang before gameweek 1 and had to get rid of him because I read he was ill. I've also had Veltman and Ben White who I think both have Covid and last weekend, Maupay got injured!!! That's 4 so far with 2 gameweeks complete 😮

Wow things are really getting intense, especially for the epl fantasy. I’ll have to improve more if I’m ever going to win something 😅
I think I’m doing pretty well with the rest of the leagues. I just hope you guys don’t get any of my key players in the La Liga fantasy. 😂
@jimah1k poached Neto from me this week for a bargain price of £1m. Although I think ter Stegen will be back within the next couple of weeks so I don't know if he'll keep playing.
I don't know if all of the good players have already gone but the players La Liga are offering up are just dreadful. We'll have no choice but to keep buying from each other!
