With Serie A kicking off this Saturday, the Fantasy Serie A game chosen will have a familiar feel to it. The rules and points scoring system appear to be identical to FPL and the website and interface have a slick feel to it. We currently only have 3 participants, enough to fill the 3 slots in our WOX Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame but it would be great to welcome more players and additional competition for prizes.
As with FPL, there is a Standard League and a Head-to-Head league with a total prize fund of 80 Steem.

⚽ Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 1 Update and Prize Winners
If you look at the image above with joy, then you've had a good Gameweek. If you look at it with sadness and regret, then the chances are you haven't. Having watched Fernandes score a hat-trick against Leeds in the early kick off, I started the weekend in the "sadness and regret" camp but fortunately for me, every player (apart from my goalkeeper) gave me a return so I ended up joint top in Gameweek 1 along with @jimah1k with a whopping 104 points.
This means that GW1's prize is split between me and @jimah1k, each winning 7.5 Steem.

⚽ Fantasy La Liga Marca Gameweek 1
With initial squads settled, @jimah1k had done the best business in advance of GW1, scoring a hefty 60 points, Karim Benzema and Nacho the stars of the show. At the other end of the table, @abu78 was cruelly punished by a game that awards 0 points to your entireteam if you don't pick 11 players.
New joiners will be at a slight disadvantage having missed GW1 but this format's a lot of fun and with 5 spaces remaining in the league, I highly recommend following this link to join
⚽ Fantasy Bundesliga Manager Gameweek 1
This is the game where the additional effort of changing your team throughout a gameweek will reap its rewards. It's the only one currently running that allows you to do this (The UEFA Champions League game will also allow this) and adds some importance to having 15 capable players. @jimah1k is once again flying high in this one, sitting 11 points behind me at the top of the table. With most teams scoring 90+ points, only @gabikay can tell us what happened to his team and his 19 point total.

🏏 The Final Week of The Hundred
In an effort to attract more and younger fans to the game of cricket, the inaugural "The Hundred" is reaching its final stage as the last round of matches is played this week followed by a semi-final and final. The tournament has been a great success and the Fantasy game has been a lot of fun despite only attracting 5 players. The league table is slightly misleading as we're mid-gameweek but it seems to have a familiar look with me and @jimah1k sitting at the top with @boss75 not far behind. There's still all to play for.

I'd love to run even more contests for even more sports but I know very little about what make a good fantasy game for many American Sports. If this is an area of expertise, then provided that we can generate enough interest, I'd be happy to provide the prizes. I've written this post on the subject so please get in touch and help to make World Of Xpilar the go-to community for Fantasy Sports on Steemit.

🥎 I've found a good Fantasy Tennis website but the tournament's players are announced at fairly short notice which could make it difficult to administer. Please let me know if this is of interest and I can tag interested players when it comes to trialling it here on Steemit.

There's a good chance that others will get caught out by that at some point this season. It's a really harsh rule which I'd like to be able to turn off!
