Nail polish! A fiction
Dear friends
I am pleased to participate in the daily challenge of @mariannewest, Tuesday's message: nail polish. I hope you enjoy.
The hours that Mark was spending in the hospital were becoming eternal, he had been assigned a shared room with other patients who were preventively isolated from the rest of the people admitted. Early in the morning a laboratory assistant approached each of the beds to take their sample to rule out the presence of the coronavirus among them.
In the middle of the morning the doctor on duty showed up to apply an antiseptic solution whose smell reminded them of nail polish. Mark, when he smelled it, began to sneeze and asked for a glass of water to clear his throat.
Now they just had to be patient to wait for the results of the laboratory, Mark now had no fever and had been relieved of his flu discomfort.
