Eye witness! A fiction! A weekend freewrite
I am pleased to participate in the weekend freewrite challenge of @mariannewest, single prompt option: eye witness. I hope you enjoy.
Days ago when Mark was heading towards his office, a disconcerting situation was found in the building's portal, it was a heated argument between John and his wife.
After that bad time, this had been forgotten until it is day a notification from the courts arrived to come to testify as an eye witness.
When he entered the courtroom, he was surprised that John and his wife were gloomy and had lost the smile that always characterized them.
The judge on board asked him:
"Do you think John was mistreating his wife?"
To which Mark replied:
He always treated her with affection but in recent days he had lost interest in her.
The judge then said:
"Well the decision to declare the separation will take it for a few days."
Hitting the bell:
"The session is over".
