I'm also honored to participate in this engagement contest / S2W1 which is talking about "Showing an Institution or Charity Place in our various cities". I believe you will all enjoy my entry

Without waisting anytime, I will proceed with my entry. So my entry goes thus:,

For the sake of this contest, I have decided to choose an institution which is an educational and a free-training institution. I have also work in this institution as well because we where the ones that started the institution. Below, I will be introducing YEESJA(YOUTHS EMPOWERMENT FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL JUSTICE IN AFRICA) properly.

INTRODUCING YEESJA

YEESJA Logo and Calendar

"YEESJA" stands for "Youth Empowerment for Economic and Social Justice in Africa". It is a Pan African non-partisan and charitable institution which is out to help the Youths by creating them good opportunities that could help them address and help them came out of major problems like "zero hunger, quality education, gender equality, sanitation, peace, justice, strong institution, well-being and good health".

YEESJA was created to improve on local African experience via peace projects such as helping communities and providing them free training, giving them the power to change their economy, quality education and financial lives

It was founded in 2020 and run by three countries with a registered office at South Africa and two operational offices at Nigeria and Cameroon.

Due to the ongoing Anglophone crises that have been ravaging our beloved nation Cameroon for almost 6years now, this has in turn grounded social development in my city, the economy in my city, education and business operations in my city and up to now, the world haven't put in enough efforts in stoping the crises which has worsen as years are passing by

This has also caused a good number of children to be out of school which is extremely very damaging for the future of this innocent children and so many families have lost a lot of family members during war fronts, families have lost their homes as they were burnt down as a results of the crises which has caused a lot of people to be internally displaced (IDPs).

Due to all this effects and happenings, YEESJA was created so as to act as an NGO(non governmental organization) to help out this IDPs most especially the youths so that it could offer them free education, free-training and other aids. YEESJA was created in South Africa in 2020 and it's office center in Cameroon was based in the North West region in Ntarikun, Bamenda directly opposite Apostolic Building and it's official website is ""www.yeesja.org"".

YEESJA uplift is an enterprise development initiative which began it's first operation that ran for a period of 10 months( started on 02/02/2021 and ended on 30/11/2021). It involved 70 IDPs( 35 males and 35 females), 7 facilitators, 7 moderators and 14 mentors that where running the functions of self leadership, information technology, financial management, funding and entrepreneurship

I happened to be one leaders who took the initiative in working and collaborating with YEESJA in offering the selected IDPs free training and quality education because I had alot of classes with them during my time of working in the organization

The common goal and vision of YEESJA was to help and develop the disadvantage youths and IDPs which was subdivided into three main categories such as

1. Physical Development:
to teach the disable youths and IDPs about healthy living and to provide them with financial aid so that they could put food on their table hence teaching them to learn a handwork that could generate them income
2. Spiritual Development
: to teach the disable youths and IDPs about christ Jesus, giving them motivational talks, taking them to churches and seminars
3. Mental Development
: To offer the disable youths and IDPs skillful free training and quality education. I was working on this department of offering them quality education as I had classes with them on weekly and monthly basis.

--
I was also incharged of taking care of their various training sessions such as tailoring, mechanic, hair-draising, decorations and so many other vocational training as I always make sure they are learning their various traits so much from their various workshops

I'm glad the at the end, through our team hardwork, we were able to embody and resonate the day to day aspiration of the underprivileged and disabled youths and most of them went through the training session successfully and have something to do that can now put food on their table. Currently, the ones that wanted education are still schooling under the sponsorship of YEESJA. The first batch of IDPs youths and underprivileged youths that benefited from YEESJA graduated on January 2022 because of little delayance along the way and the 2nd batch will soon be launched any moment from now

As y'all can see, this is my team and some of the IDPs that we were training. We had countless training sessions, we went out on numerous occasions to do clean up campaigns around our city by cleaning bridges, roads and dirty areas in our city. We also carried out tree planting exercise, had classes on how to cook various dishes, enfact we carried out a lot of activities with the IDPs as we hired a lot of trainees from different areas of specialties to train the IDPs
