BRAGGING is FUNNER THAN NO BRAGGING 🗣️📣💬

Destination : Yummy!

It's been almost 2 months since I last uploaded an article to Steem For Betterlife. My last article to SBL was on July 11, titled Entah Apa-apa Ntah …. Why was there such a long gap before I wrote back on SBL? The answer is probably because I was running out of ideas and other things were occupying my attention. Uh, so vent.

This time I am uploading again to SBL, although this is nothing, there is no benefit in any way that you might be able to get from this article, but whatever! I have been having hard days and need a release and I hope you will be a good person and cheer me up by re-steeming it, commenting on it, talking about it, and last but the most important one: UPVOTING it, also inviting lots of friends to comment and re-steem and upvote big time. To many wishes made by someone who has been experiencing hard days?

This article is actually to answer @wakeupkitty's questions in a comment as seen here. Here is a screenshot of that Kitty's comment.

The image is clickable, but I warn you: YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO CLICK ON IT!

The question is part of a series of comments that occur below this article uploaded on August 28, 2024. Let me respond to Kitty's comment in a structured, systematic and massive way.

Oh well, people always seem to think I am joking or telling a story even if I say the naked truth or warn.

Well, it's funny. And is fun, ain't it? 😆😆

Why Chandler?

Many things, I can write an article about it. But,

What are you doing in SEA? Is it fun? [Warning: This will be like @el-nailul's Steem Representative Report .]

In short, what I do on Steem SEA (I took the liberty to interpret what Kitty meant by SEA, since I am now active in the community as one of the Moderators, which position I received after a series of discussions for about 2 weeks with Mr. XLV and @anroja following the offer) is an elaboration of what I do on Steem: Having Fun.

I will do what I enjoy and avoid what I don't, and I think everyone has the same tendency. It's the same for me on Steem. I will write and comment on things that catch my interest. I will also create things that make me happy, just like other creative people such as yourself do, basically on Steem since we are talking related things. And that's one of the beautiful things about Steem-Blog, ain't it?

The above is my general answer to the question of what I do on Steem. If you meant by the question is what I specifically do (in form of implemented actions) in Steem SEA, I can make you a short list [Not really like el-n SR Reports, it's not that long, not even somewhere near it.] :

  • I am currently copying one of the things you do on SBL (i.e. comment contests) and modifying it my way. Take a peek at this active "contest" Resource Credit: Energi Steemian Dalam Mengunggah Artikel dan Komentar 🤓 🤓 🤓 - Ada Kontes Bernilai Total 13 SP 💰 💰 💰.

Actually, what I do is not purely uploading contest articles, but the articles I upload contain opportunities for readers to earn a little extra SP if they care enough and have the time. So the concept is that they can get a little extra knowledge about an aspect (especially things related to Steem blockchain), if they haven't already.

I have decided to give back a little of what I earn on Steem to the community, and this is nothing new for me. In fact, I really wish I could do it for Steemians with low SP and hope that they can be more active so that they can see their power grow faster. In Steem SEA I see one person who is very passionate about writing and commenting and learning Steem (often comes with questions), she is a member of the SSEA-MINER Program named @sumarni123, who is a teacher.

There are times when the questions I ask make it necessary for potential participants to read, and I usually include reading references below my articles so that if they care enough, they just need to read, make inferences, and get that SP. Take a look at this article SSEA-MINER : Evaluasi Minggu 03 dan Peluncuran Minggu 04.

But then yes, the tendency of some people I meet on Steem is that they are too passionate about writing and lazy to read. Maybe it's because writing carries the potential to be touched by “love”, while reading has the potential to confuse.

And so far I don't get as many responses as you do on SBL, except this article, MENANGKAN 6 (+3) STEEM!! IKUTI DISKUSI TENTANG TAGAR INI! which received over 140 comments. I don't know what caused the low response, but I have listed a few possibilities:

    • the topics I picked were too "heavy" for Steem SEA members, or
    • they were too busy writing to have a chance to read, or
    • the rewards I offer are too small for them, or
    • I as a host am not as good as you, Kitty, at getting people to come and comment, or
    • a combination of those things
  • We also just ended a series of Independence Day contests that had 3 rounds (one week per round) yesterday, and the winners have been determined and awarded SP. The concluding article can be viewed here.

  • In Steem SEA, I currently monitor the blogging activities of the community's residents (administrators, moderators and members), whose reports I make in the form of statistics every two weeks, so that per month we have 2 editions. The newest one was uploaded 4 days ago, Statistik Komunitas Steem SEA Edisi 4 / 16 – 31 Agustus 2024.
    ssr03-bann.png

  • I am also currently authorized to run the SSEA-MINER program that you may already know, a program to help Steemians (10 per round) with own SP below 100 to reach 500, and progress reports are made every week. This is actually not a new program for me and for SSEA, we have experiences in the past. And this time the SSEA board felt that maybe I could re-run this kind of initiative in there. With a few modifications that I made to similar programs in the past, I accepted the offer.

Is it fun? Yes, that's how I have fun on Steem. At least it helps me kill a little time especially in transition periods like now where Steemit Crypto Academy is not running its business. The Steemit Crypto Academy assignment article-style is the form of writing that I actually like the most, it's scientific and I especially like the topic (trading and crypto and blockchain).

But it's possible that I'm misinterpreting what you mean, Kitty, in the “what am I doing in SEA” question. If that's the case, please correct me, and maybe I'll come up with another article.

And of course the votes make having fun FUNNER.

CLOSING

I've seen how people have fun on Steem while making a little (or big) money. I see the different ways they do that. I see people who are passionate about writing and interacting. There are also those who just post and then leave and come back the next day to post another post, not caring about interaction.

This is not an important post as stated at the beginning of the article. Why make it an article and not just post it in the comment bar? It was meant to be, but in the process, it turned out to be this long, longer than I anticipated in the beginning. I'm still that old person who won't explain things succinctly because how much I love typing letters: 3000.

My dear friend, you think too much. After reading I can tell from your reply to the comment of wakeupkitty ,you have put a lot of thought into this. You have used beautiful words to express yourself. I think we should all try to support each other and guide each other in our relationships.

Sometimes it takes time to understand people, or we need to adjust our mindset to understand their perspective.

My friend @wakeupkitty is very open and straightforward on this platform. Initially, I used to think she is a bit negative, but after talking to her, I realized that although her words may be harsh sometimes, she is a kind-hearted person.

And the more I talk to you, the more I realize that you are also a very supportive person with a positive mindset. So, I would say that whatever you are doing on Steemit or Steem Sea, it's because of your own abilities. When someone is given a position, it's based on their abilities. I have noticed that you are doing a great job moderating Steem Sea and the World of XPilar telegram group.

So, I would say, let's not take things to heart and focus on appreciating each other's efforts. I would tell @wakeupkitty the same thing - we are all free to do our own thing, and instead of criticizing someone's one action, it's better to appreciate their other good deeds.

Let's spread happiness and smiles - that's the foundation of good relationships. :-)
