Its been awfully slow my way here on Steemit, figuring the pace is due to the voting power 5% drops in upvote usage but had me ponder how HF19 has done for everyone. Is this what you expected now that its been a week into it. Is this doing well by you or do you have any concerns about it. Are you one of these 3 guys at the moment when you think about HF19?

Personally all I am seeing is a drop in activity my way, less comments and upvotes but I suspect a lot of voting power recharging going on due to the slight changes or I have bored the every living hell out of everyone lol. Just curious how everyone is feeling this change and the benefits or non benefits they are taking from a week with HF19 in their lives.

I mean those two upvotes are worth 20-30 cents now compared to half a penny
Everyone seems to be holding back the upvotes due to the 5% hit on voting power, I been noticing the very same thing. All we can do is keep kicking out great content and pray it catches fire at some point. I had a lot of great upvotes hit but hitting a very slow period the last 3 days or so. Probably how it will be for a bit till everyone figures their game with voting power. I get the same thing, loads of comments but not much income coming back in.

Its not bad, just a lot less activity I am seeing between a few buddies posts and mine, but I suspect there is a lot of voting power recharging going on. Overall I do think its great once we have that VP up. Been wanting to wait it out a week to see what everyone else things after they used it enough

Mine too...man I lost $70 on a post today lol. No downvotes just due to that average being so low and sucked it down bad. Concerning but I am thinking after time this may benefit if the prices go back up. Its so hard to tell because BTC is screwing everything in the markets at the moment lol...one BTC hiccup and they all fall lol

I'm just happy to see the numbers change when I vote. Until steemit I had never even wrote a Christmas card, but I'm slowly learning and My first month had good results. Thanks to the fork things look even better.
At first for me it was great but my earnings been going down lower recently than they were before. I think the voting power thing has people limited on who and when they vote. Other than that yes its great to see high earnings but recovery on VP seems a bit slow, I haven't been able to upvote for days due to it lol. I am 50/50 on the fence about it. Open minded enough to keep going but if I only make $20 a week from now on, I am sadly outta here onto the next thing lol. Gotta keep up for the family but I think its just a momentary thing my way. Hopefully
My only option ATM is to go back to Canada to work, which I can not do till my residency is complete. My work permit is ready maybe next month for Panama. So I'm All in. But holding onto my cash on hand, and building steem power as fast as I can. But too poor to invest directly, incase my reserves are needed for day to day life here.
So the price of steem is irrelavant to me, as I have no intension of cashing out.
I'm lucky to be able to live on next to nothing forever if need be. So Life is Good.

I guess this right now is just growing pain and we should correct. Just discouraging I guess to me, had such great momentum then bam it just stalls lol. I hate to powerdown myself because I am in the same boat, no real finances to regain it back so I guess I will just grin and bare the moment. All we can do is keep on keeping on lol

Don't feel bad, when bitcoin first was about I bought 13 of them for a dvd, trust me I kick myself now about that one but I just thought it was a payment system the store used lol....now damn it man lol. It will all be fine, Crypto is in a crazy place lately is all

I don't know if my predicament has something to do with the HF or not. I mean, I am new here 13 days ago. I've seen all of my posts drop half their potential earnings without losing any votes or anything. I don't really understand that.
Don't get me wrong, the $1 I am making is $1 more than I had before, and I have no problems with small payouts at all, but what is bugging me is the fact that they get up to $14 and then drop down to $7 when payout rolls around. I feel like there's something wrong somewhere and it can't just be that the value of steem is going down, cause it's not???
I agree with you completely, that is my question and the voting power recovery seems slower with a higher percentage being taken away per vote. Other than that its great when its up it upvotes higher for people but if I can't upvote as much its kind of restricting. That price dip on the blogs, concerns me too.

That is my biggest and only issue at the moment, I been down below 40% all week lol. Just got up above 40% but this rate is slow so I can't hook people up and in turn think its slowing down my earning potentials lol. So I am gonna sit back and try to get it back to 100% and be way more careful in the future.

Currently I am trying to get my voting power back up. I didnt notice too much of a difference because I have only been on steemit for just over two weeks. So I didnt have much to begin with nor do I have much to compare it to now. However, I am noticing a lengthy time to rebuild my power. Pre hf19 I believe it was due to me being voting-happy and not knowing I was limited or that I would run out. Now that i have learned this I am more picky about where I choose to upvote.
That is the biggest issue and main issue. They hit you now with a 5% take away on your voting power per upvote so it dwindles faster but that recovery seems slower as well. I been barely able to keep it above 40% so I had to chill the last few days. It poses a few things maybe, there maybe buddy systems being formed lol...so unsure if that will be good or bad for business here in the long term but noticing everyone pairing up in groups to vote only on their posts lately. Me I will just hunt good content and bless where I can. I got a ton of SP on the way through my constant mining so in the end I am sure it will all even out. First you gotta kind of figure your budget in what you can afford to buy right now. If you have enough to get an ASIC that is first step to try to get, if you want to mine off a GPU that is a decent other route that maybe more affordable
Payout of my old posts increased at the day of HF19, but then everything seem not much changed.
Same here, it was great on payouts first couple of days but since it appears to keep dropping the more and more people realize they have less voting power to spread around. Unsure if this will be good or bad in the long run, kind of in between on it right now
I also need to adjust my voting power everytime and I trends to vote fewer and more carefully.
That voting power setup has lost its fun for me lol....seriously been trying to recover mine for a week and last 4 days haven't even voted...still at 50% Not so sure about this at this stage .... starting to feel like it was great at first but a major hold back due to the increase in percentage take away vs its actual recovery
