This is about care within the Senior Rehab Facilities, Hospitals, Home Care, Administration and Insurance Companies with Appeal Process. Absolute truths involved, and why you need to be the advocate and stick to your guns no matter what.
We have to face these issues head on with the full armor of God and stand with Jesus Christ no matter what.

For the past month, my Father has been residing in a Rehab Facility. This is the Third one within a year since his diagnosis of his blood disorder called Mylodisplastic Syndrome (MDS), blood disorder that affects the bone marrow, doesn’t produce enough red blood cells to survive, not typical cancer patient, looks and feels anemic.
So far, this has been an Insane process no words can describe how frustrating and insane this is. With this blood disorder, every two weeks, months, or whatever progression you are in, if the blood transfusions are frequent and the blood count/hemoglobin is not holding for long. Then, it’s a matter of time when the blood transfusions won’t work, then it’s off to hospice, to make the person feel comfortable on their deathbed.
You can’t rely on everyone, you have to be the advocate and educate yourself, can’t rely on others. There’s lack of customer service everywhere, that includes the healthcare industry too.

As far as what happened at this particular Georgia facility. The family of the elderly gentleman who served his country. The family had suspicions with the care received was very poor. To setup a hidden camera to capture that on film, with administration doing nothing to fire and remove their nursing license until 10 months later, WTF!

Every week the doctors increase or decrease the dosages. I told the doctor and I do not think she did anything. When I related to the director of nurse I was fired.”

That’s not even care, that’s Elder Abuse. No excuse for that whatsoever. If that were my Father/Mother, other family members, etc. I would make sure that Justice is served and would not hesitate to make sure those involved with covering it up, along with those involved will get theirs. You can read the article with the video yourself and decide. Look into what Elder Law is about and educate yourself on what it entails and if you are in a situation where you question the quality of care by a hospital/nursing facility, then Elder Law applies. Then, you seek an Elder Law attorney to handle the manner, sometimes it’s settled other times it goes to court.
That’s why I’m bringing up with my Father’s situation. Not every situation is the same, you have to be on your toes and be vigilant. Either way you have to go back and forth everyday at the Nursing Home facility to look after him and deal with the nurses, therapists, and the social worker. It’s not just leave the person there and assume, you have to be there either way to assist with other questions, and care for the person as well. Not necessarily be there all day, but some days you have to get things straight with the nursing facility.
HOSPITAL STAY?
Why my father was admitted in the hospital because in addition to his blood disorder, lowest blood count ever and has been experiencing spasms from the severe spinal stenosis, can barely move, intense pain so bad that they had to do an Epidural, which worked temporarily.
The ER experience with the ER doctor was an idiot who believed it was the heart completely and not the back, because he didn’t want to admit him unless there was more than can hardly move, extreme pain, and spasms every two seconds, really low blood count. If it were the heart, that machine would be buzzing, blood pressure through the roof. Test results were proven to be false, only thing my Father has no problem with is heart and blood pressure is perfect. Problems with his lack of mobility, spinal stenosis, arthritis, neuropathy in the hands and feet, prone to blood counts is on blood thinner, and MDS blood disorder. My Father was only admitted by this ER Doctor in the hospital because he had a bladder infection of which he had bladder cancer, is incontinent as well.
In the hospital, after my father had three blood transfusions in a row. So far, Diaxapan is a combo of muscle relaxer and pain is working, but to a degree. The day before the Hospital last minute wanted my Father out of there and transferred to a Rehab facility, the Nurse could care less, especially with the lab results on his blood work. For those who don’t understand what INR is a blood count factor with being a certain level of 2-3 is the normal, anything below a 2, let’s say it’s a 1, causes of great concern of which was stated in the lab INR at 1. The Nurse felt it was no big deal, of which we informed her that is of great concern, do your job and inform the Doctor, because my Father can’t be discharged unless the infections, blood levels, and other things are resolved before going for therapy.
As a result, the Doctor too could care less and was all focused on the heart, which again was not the case, due the test results being negative with perfect heart and blood pressure. It was the blood level being too low, was anemic, could hardly move due the insane muscle spasms from the spinal stenosis.
Most of these Professionals, who are arrogant only focus on one thing and NOT treating the person as a whole.
NURSING HOME FACILITY AND APPEAL PROCESS
In the rehab, the nurses and therapists worked well with my Father, yes; he had good and bad days. The Nurses and Therapists have been wonderful to him, not so much with Administration from the facility. The Doctor at the Rehab Facility did resolve the blood count issue that the hospital failed to do so from being a 1 INR to a 3.2 INR is good. With the rehab facility, the insurance will only pay for a number of days, after that it used to be $160 per day for so many days before the insurance would pick up the rest. Now, it’s $500 per day.
As a result, we appealed, the insurance company which directs over the rehab facility ruled in our favor and was allowed to stay for another week. The administration at the rehab facility, wanted him out and the information suppressed by the social worker who lead us to believe he was being discharged, when in fact they had foreknowledge that the appeal was approved by the Insurance. We weren’t informed until the day of discharge that my Father could stay another week, of which he was too weak to stand.
From what was stated by the Insurance company the administration at the rehab facility did know the appeal was granted and they screwed up the paperwork.
We appealed again, won a short appeal, because administration screwed up the paperwork.
We are appealing again for more time for rehab, because right now he has good days could quickly change to bad days.
WHAT HOME CARE REALLY IS AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T UNLESS FOR CERTAIN REASONS
From what the rehab facility only promotes what they have to offer, that includes Home Care, Rehab, all of which we are NOT interested in because it’s not really care. Call what Home Care for $25 per hour for once in the morning for quick this and that and once in the evening all for under an hour. That’s not even 2 hours per day, equals $50 per day.
Home Care is Quick-In-And-Out See you around Care. Not worth it when you the primary caregivers have to do the work anyway. If you have feeding tubes, other machines hooked up too, cancer medicines that only health-care professionals are authorized to administer, then it would make sense in certain cases, not every case.
How do I know of all of this, because I volunteered in the Home Care Industry, learned how the process works with Nursing staff sent to this and that home for quick in and out care, how the supplies are ordered, and the delivery staff to work with the nurses to deliver to the homes 6 days a week, with Sunday as an off day.
I spoke with those who are presently and former Home Care specialists who said the same thing that their job is quick in and out care under an hour going to different homes per 12-16 hour days. Very stressful and frustrating job. Not enough time to develop a relationship with the patient, and problems really start after they leave. Many unknowns as well.
LIFT MACHINE?
In my Father’s case, his problem is lack of mobility and prone to anemia, while trying to figure out pain management. Looking into getting a manual lift machine, not a powered up, in case in power goes out. At the same time, we want him to be strong enough so we don’t have to get a lift machine. For those who aren’t aware they are very expensive from hundreds to thousands of dollars. After talking to Invacare that used to rent medical equipment for free to consumers, they only rent to nursing home and hospitals, not to consumers. Other problems with the local non-profit places that have rental & lower price medical equipment that are refurbished. Problems are with lack of equipment available, and questions on quality of product such as who used it before, rental could be really temporary instead of long-term. Better off getting a new product as much as possible.
TRANSPORT VAN a.k.a. "PRISON TRANSPORT SERVICE"
Others had asked my family to do a mobility shuttle (transport van) service as the answer. Again there are many problems as well. There is one person that drives the transport van, my Father refers to that as the “Prison transport service.” It’s a bus stop pickup that are not there to get you in and out of the house, into the wheelchair and so on. They are there for you to be ready to go when they arrive, get you already in the wheelchair quickly secured in the van with chains strapped down from the wheelchair to the floor of the van. All day these drivers drop off people to mainly nursing homes and hospitals with a fee for the service provided. Much more expensive going with those not affiliated with nursing homes, etc. Again, there are fees involved and the pickup route is too many unknowns, because it’s not an Uber/Taxi service in that regard and they only work certain number of hours during the work day.
Either way you are on your own. So, what’s sense does it make to do a transport service, home care when it’s not what it seems. Not making any of this up because we’ve experience it firsthand. You need to be your own advocate. Problems are there are not enough to be done to make sure the person is getting the best possible care. Since, these nursing homes, hospitals, clinics say they are demand for hiring nurses, doctors, assistants, etc. Yet, the administration and industrialists fail to meet the demand and are only concerned with anything new and profit at all costs. They could care less about anyone, except for themselves. Since every specialist, etc. only focus on one thing, they never focus the person as a whole, going above and beyond initial duties.
DISGUSTED OF HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY
I’m sick and tired of it. Have no respect nor desire for the healthcare industry of which big pharma is out there to make profit out of people’s suffering and manufacturing drugs that mask the problem, never get to the root of the problem, and can killer drugs that can kill you faster than the disease itself. Just because it has this and that label doesn’t mean a damn thing. Just because something is Organic, of which is promoted by the powers that shouldn’t be is not really organic. Take a good look at the products themselves and the so-called ingredients. When you see 5000% of something that is in the bottles, then you know that the majority of the ingredients are artificial and not natural, makes you feel worse than better.
POISONING US WITH CHEMTRAILS, AGENDA 21 & 2030
In some places you can’t grow food at your home because you can be fined and jailed. Other times, the crops go bad due to bad season(s). Take a good look at the sky and you tell me that they aren’t spraying s*** in the sky with the chemtrails via Geoengineering. There are white streaks in the sky’s, sometime later, the sky turns white, cloudy as well. Air you breath makes you feel sick as well. They are poisoning us from the Chemtrails, GMO’s, Big Pharma, etc. Anything that the AntiChrist System promotes are Satanic with Homosexuality, Transgenderism, Paganism, AI, etc.
From what I can tell you about the appeal process to not wait, act upon if you feel you need extended stay for more therapy, and everything else that I said. You need to be an advocate and always questions and do your own research with proof from various sources that are true. Verify that it is true.
We’re living in the greatest and the worst of times. There are going to be those who are awake (red pill), those are not awake (blue pill), sheep that are sleep. The powers that shouldn’t be are deliberating dumbing down with s*** and turning people into zombies.

This what I’m dealing with at this time. I try to do the best that I can with putting together a post. Why I do combo posts, because it relates to this and that? If you want to save it for reference, then do so. I ask you to please pray for my Father at this difficult time despite his good and bad days. We are trying to do what we can in our own time.

We are grateful for the care my Father is receiving despite the lack of communication and lack of respect thereof with certain people. Otherwise, he doing very well, lost the extra weight that was making him obese, helps him move better. Plus his blood count is much better, but that won’t last long. Best to focus on the good times, rather than the bad.
