IS GRIDCOIN WORTH IT?
I have been assigning CPU tasks on BOINC to earn Gridcoin but I am having trouble getting a CPID and how to sync the BOINC account with my GridCoin Wallet.
When I learned about Gridcoin I immediately saw its potential. A cryptocurrency that can have you earn by using the CPU from your computer to perform tasks online that I don't fully understand. But hey, it sounded like a great source of passive income and it seem more legit than these scam sites like MicroHash.
I've seen others earn Gridcoin in this matter so I figured I must be doing something wrong so now I ask you Steemers.

I've got you, let start from the start.
None that are live and fully functional. There is a beta running from SPARC, but I am still not convinced that is not an ICO scam.
After this was asked to me for the 100th time, I wrote a guide to get you going from a cold start, The Total and Utter Noobie Guide to Successfully Solo Mining the Cryptocurrency Gridcoin.
While I am convinced we will continue to rise in value as a coin, currently I would not see GRC as a source of passive income. You can mine it profitably even now, but you would need a lot of hardware to make significant income. If you are interested in earning money to pay for power while contributing to research - now we're talking!

I've managed to get some tokens from SPARC, but at this point I don't see anything in terms of value creation for the token.
That said, I will give it to the developers: I've had 3-4 problems and a suggestion. Each and every e-mail has been responded to in less than a day and is implemented/fixed.
The short answer to your headline question is : it depends on what the term "worth" is meaning for you :)

If all this does not help there are many more methods in getting into contact with Gridcoiners, for instance the Slack channel or Gridcoin Reddit Presence or even an IRC Channel.
So there are many many ways to communicate and we are always trying to help!
