Paradise Found is grateful for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a wonderful Holiday. Families gather together and give thanks. My family will be gathering today at my sister's house. We will all be there, even my Dad. It will be his first holiday with us in many years. He recently moved back from Florida. I'm thankful for so many things today. Faith & family and the love we share are certainly at the top. But honestly, this year I have so many new friends on Steemit I'm also thankful for, and for this amazing #gratefulvibes community. Please accept this heartfelt holiday greeting...

@richq11 has commented here on my daily #gratefulvibes. A few days ago he posted that he has now authored a published book. In his posted he says, "Thanksgiving day will mark my one year anniversary on Steemit. When I began I was flat broke...now thanks to the great people in the Steemit community, not only am I able to pay my bills, I've been able to write and publish a book. If you're new to Steemit and you have a dream and are willing to work hard for it- you can do it too." This inspiration is fantastic. An honest to goodness success story!! Paradise Found is grateful to cook

I have a confession, my name is Paradise, and I'm hooked on cooking. My father loved to cook as well, so maybe I got it from him. The thing is, when I retired 2 1/2 years ago, I took over many of the household duties, as my wife is still working. The only one that's not a "chore" is the cooking. Every once in a while, I get the desire to cook unusual stuff, and using Bison meat to make a stew qualifies. I must warn you!! If you visit my post about making Tasty Bison Stew here, you will leave with a craving for stew.
