That picture just makes you want to shiver, it is so cold looking, kind of cool, when you think about it. Frozen trees and frozen sky.

Personally I like this frozen atmosphere on sunrise very much. But just damn cold to wake uo so early and go for a shoot :)

I have been in Alaska but then was summer. I would love to see the magnificent scenery during the winter.
What parts of Alaska did you see? Winters have sure been changing
here somewhat over the years. Right now it's warmer and raining
where I'm at. The snow and ice can sure be photogenic! :-)

the wonderful places you got to see on your trip here
all the beautiful photos! I like how you put them on

Most cool was seeing your links to the ''Northern eXposure''
videos lol. I've not seen those in years and use to love
watching the show when it was on tv! now I will look them
up on youtube as we don't do tv anymore.
Ya can sure tell the difference in the trees on that show
filmed in Washington compared to Alaska ;-)

mighty mountains and vast landscapes and even icebergs
