ABC News Australia made an informative piece about cryptocurrency's potential for rebuilding Puerto Rico featuring none other than Brock Pierce and @quinneaker!

For anyone unaware, Puerto Rico is a US territory that has been bankrupt for years. Hurricanes Maria and Irma hit the island in September 2017, devastating the already dilapidated infrastructure, much of which has still not been repaired.


Estimates say thousands of people died because aid did not arrive.


Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology could improve the system in Puerto Rico, and there is a strong push for its presence on the island. Crypto King Brock Pierce is at the center of the movement.
