SteemHeroes faction logo reveal - The Martyrs
The Martyrs are the more orderly faction of villains within SteemHeroes. They are those who feel rejected and angry towards the world after they've been cursed in one way or another by Olympium. The Martyrs derive their name from public officials who stated that those suffering from Olympium poisoning are "martyrs of human progress", basically treating them like the cost humanity was willing to pay in order to use this new energy source.
The logo for The Martyrs loosely resembles a crucifix, with a large letter M draped over the center rather than the crossbar. It symbolizes how its members feel like they've been chosen to 'hang on the cross' so everyone else can live their lives in greater comfort. Its simplicity is meant to resemble an ancient rune more than a formal logo, which can quickly be drawn or painted when they feel the need to leave behind their calling card.
