Minecraft Story Mode Season Two Epsiode 3 Review - Jailhouse Block

in #gaming7 years ago (edited)

The exciting adventure of Minecraft Story Mode Season Two continues. Meanwhile, it's time for the Minecraft Story Mode Season Two Epsiode 3 Review: Jailhouse Block, and we'll read how it goes with Jesse and all the adventures.

In episode 3 Jailhouse Block you get to know the so-called Sunshine Institute. Well, such a sun is not there we can tell you, because it's actually a prison for annoying people, divided into several layers. It's a complete maze and to you, Jesse, the task of getting yourself out of it. And your locked friends would like to take you naturally as well.

Ancient Earthquake

Your enemy is still the Admin, as in episodes 1 and 2 . And everyone in the "sunny" institute is completely borewashed. Because what Admin says, you should do that. Telltale would not be Telltale if you would not be able to choose options in dialogs.

In episode 3, it is especially important to draw up rebels relative to the arch enemy and its followers. For this reason alone, it is interesting to play the episode again, but then to make other choices.

What Minecraft Story Mode Season Two Episode 3 is especially good is the balance in the gameplay elements. Telltale games, and so on this second Minecraft season, always consist of a few things: conducting conversations, solving puzzles (finding items to be able to build) and fighting. Where the balance is occasionally searched in the different episodes, this season is perfect.

And the nice thing is that you've experienced somewhere halfway through such a fierce battle that you feel like it's the end of the episode because it's so big and you're just halfway up. Well done Telltale.

Moderate dialogues

Even though the episode has lesser sides. And these are the dialogues, actually the ingredient Telltale should have. They are a bit dull and not very memorable. Even if you continually choose for the more rebellious side of Jesse, the episode is quite boring at times.

Come on, you're locked up in a broken system! And every floor gets a floor worse! But that fear and disturbance does not come true. Sin.

Additionally, this episode also refers to a new character, not really showing anything new. It hurts a bit and does everything already done before. What cool conversations could make the slurry, but unfortunately, it does not happen, apart from a nice joke.

Perhaps it's also because you're locked up in the same institute and it's hard to offer the same quality for 1.5 hours. Likewise, it's always a challenge for directors to keep a movie with a location as a non-stop court.

Minecraft Story Mode Season Two Epsiode 3 Review - Missed Chance

All in all, the Minecraft Story Mode Season Two Epsiode 3 is fun to play, but it's also a bit boring. What tough fighting, as well as the introduction of a new character, still helps to prevent you from continuing to play.

But it's a pity to see that dialogue has not taken place anymore. Such a cool concept could have been worked out much better!

The plus and the drawbacks

✔ A cool fight
✔ Great balance in gameplay elements
✔ Occasionally a nice joke
✖ Not really something innovative
✖ Dialogues little bit of suicide

Thanks for reading, I hope you liked it!
