Acne - I Know Your Pain

It is now almost a rite of passage to suffer from acne throughout your teen years and for some of use even longer. I don't know exactly what causes us all to go through this, especially when I look at old pictures from at least 60-70 years ago, the teens did not seem to have any acne.

I suffered through it to the point that I couldn't put my head on my pillow, or lay on my back. But that was not how it had always been. When it first started, I would go to bed feeling pretty and my face looked great, only to wake up and look in the mirror ad realize that NASA is about to discover their newest planet...my face. If you have acne you know full well that when people say "Rome wasn't built in a day" that those people clearly NEVER had acne. In that case, Rome was built in 8 hours, on a REM sleep foundation. Oh the joys of life!
