Weird Things That Keep Me Up At Night 1

I have a mind that never stops and so very mundane things can keep me wondering for hours when I should be sleeping.

Last Nights Topic: Why do they put the Return/Exchange area of a store by the front door of every major store I can think of?

In my opinion, I think it makes the store and/or products look really bad when there is a line a mile long of irritated facial expressions holding half open boxes with receipts taped to them. You would never eat at a restaurant if you walked in and the first thing you saw were stacks of plates that were sent back for uncooked meat, a hair in your soup, rotten lettuce in your salad etc.
If it was me, I would put the Return/Exchange section at the very back of the store in an area that is hard to find. Maybe make it a weird waiting room like at the doctors office that everyone hates. This way it would discourage people from wanting to make the trip to Exchange their blender, and instead just buy a new one. And at least on their long walk there, carrying the item they want to get rid of, they might actually blend in as shoppers, and not make the store look like it is full of junk to be returned.
And that is what keeps me up at night.
