Fran deciphered the clues and knew very well what this meant. It was Professor Plum in the library with the candlestick, she was sure of it. But if she guessed wrong she would lose, and she would never hear the end of it from Jeremy.

She looked again at the clues and festered over throwing down the cards. Jeremy looked at her with a sneaky grin on his face. She knew he was gloating. He almost laughed as she took her time examining all the clues. It wasn’t Col. Mustard she knew that for sure.

It could have been Miss Scarlett, but she had a strong feeling that Jeremy was holding the ruby mistress in his hands.

“I believe it was Professor Plum, in the library, with the candlestick.” She said with as much confidence as she could muster.

Jeremy smiled.

Fran was shaken with fear thinking he would win… again.

Slowly Jeremy lifted the hidden cards and drew them out one by one. First the library, then the candlestick, and finally the card of Professor Plum.

“I hate this game!” he said, threw his cards down, and then stomped out the room.

Ding!
