Bertil Lintner
The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses. — Malcolm X.
Stephen L. Carter
Every law is violent, according to Yale law professor Stephen L. Carter.
Bertil Lintner
Bertil Lintner, who recently wrote an article The rebels who keep India and Myanmar apart, is Swedish journalist known for his excessive obssession with Burmese issues. He's also well-versed with the ethnic & religious minorities in India's northeast. The problem in him is not limited to him. Journalists, in general, write for those who can pay them well – in ways that can make you support the wars of the abusers and generate hate for the already abused.
Lintner has presupposed the brutal military occupation, which kept the indigenous groups subjugated, as lawful, while treating the defensive exercises conducted by the subjugated indigenous groups as problematic.
Joe Wong commented:
The current "India" is an extension of its former colonial master, British imperialist, spreading their toxic divide-and-conquer discord among the Asians
History says, the indigenous homelands neither belong to Myanmar nor do they belong to India – the two countries are the criminal aggressors, as opposed to the indigenous groups.
When entities such as the CIA and Indian military supplied weapons, they're just doing the needful? Whereas similar exercises by China.... would be an act of needlessly undermining someone else's interest? Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, who's the hypocrite? Yes Lintner, yes Lintner, several decades he's been a fool.
