Anything you can do, I can do VEGAN!
Let food be the medicine! Vegans can have it all in 2019! Pics or it didn't happen, lol! Even after throwing in a food intolerance like gluten, you can still have all your favourite binge-worthy junk food and snack food veganized, and it's actually healthier and tastier compared to the original version, especially if you infuse it! You probably got hungry while scrolling, and went for a snack and a sesh! Here's some more to read about animal agriculture and more delicious store bought vegan foodwhile you're muching. Happy scrolling.
Wow, none of that food involved the rape, torture, captivity, and/or death of any sentient beings? An excellent concept!
Yes! The Beyond Burger almost killed me it was so good, but I'm ok! hehe
I've been waiting for this post to come out! Yummmmm...
It's nice seeing all those meals and snacks again. Made me hungry, for sure.
Going vegan (and gluten-free) has been such a delicious and healthy adventure!
Dang, that sushi looks good. It all does!
Upvoted for great hunger!
Thanks @hempy! The nigiri wasn't good ( I don't like tomato that much; I'd rather try the orange kind), but avocado nigiri is sure good, so was the pink sushi rice, and asparagus rolls not featured here (but we accidently got glutened by them ooops they had a bit of tempura), mmm and black sesame seeds just make it perfect!
Infusions are great, if you can afford the extracts!
Canada just announced extract and edible regulations. 2.5mg is the max dose, can you believe that? Most chronic users could handle 100 times that, literally, which would be 1/4 gram. This is all so stupid and so corrupt. Legalization is a lie!
I know @VantoCan! It's really depressing times around here...could get worse than original prohibition :(
I saved the best for last. The Beyond Burger was the best thing ever! It had been so long since I'd had a proper burger, it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the $1.49 +tax price hack (even got it for $1.30 once somehow). Now they charge almost $4/patty, but it's still better than a $7 burger.
Even if I weren't gluten free, I still wouldn't want to pay double just for a cheap bun. Fast food places used to make their money in the soft drinks and fries, but now fries are expensive and the fluffly white almost non-existent buns are the money makers. A combo basically consists of a patty, a bun, toppings, fries and a drink, which all seem to cost equal parts now...
Some delicious dishes, @Medikatie! We're especially impressed with the burger, sushi, and iced cream!!
i believe all chips i found say they contain "traces of gluten" and it really sucks because my friend is gluten intollerant and it must be the most painfull thing to sacrifice.
It's hard at first, @maxsieg, but it gets easier, especially when the market responds. I feel bad for people who are severely allergic to gluten they have to eat everything certified gluten free and even then they often risk cross contaminations, can't eat at restaurants, etc. Vegan without any other restrictions is easy as pie haha
idk im flexitarian. i eat a bit of meat maybe once a week? i dont see the point reducing more...
i guess its also healthier that way?
Great to see more vegans on steem. I've been vegan with my wife for more than 3 years, she is 8 years vegan. I really enjoy the vegan food. I will create soon a video about how to make vegan ice cream. Stay tuned. ☺
