Channa flour does it again! This recipe makes hearty sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie. These cookies are high protein with less carbs (mostly in the sugar not the flour). They're also a good source of fiber, calcium, and iron without cholesterol! Since they're gluten, soy, and nut free, and vegan, almost anybody can enjoy them.

Yes, the dough supposed to be like cement. Don't worry, it makes good cookies. The dough should taste and smell like icing.

Shape into 12 balls and bake @ 350 for 9-15 minutes, set a timer, dab while waiting. Let cool for a few minutes, serve with mylk and enjoy!

I was thinking of calling them "channa 'n chip cookies", it rolls off the tongue and short for channa flour and chocolate chip.

(Yes you could use an egg instead of an egg replacer. The recipe should still work the same. But consider getting a small bag of egg replacer sometime! It's a dry powder you mix with water when you want "an egg" for baking recipes. It lasts forever, doesn't contribute to animal cruelty, and does the same job a bird egg would do.)
: D
(Also... no, the cookies don't taste like chick peas... they actually taste like any other homemade cookie. Can't tell that there's no wheat. That's a huge plus for people who avoid gluten, like myself. Being able to eat cookies again is awesome!)

Looks like a Good recipie. I will try my best. Thanks😃

@Drutter and I altered this recipe by using 2/3 of a cup of channa, almond, and tapioca flour each, and no egg replacer. Add a little more oil than 1/4 cup and add water until it's the right consistency. It's nice not to use egg replacer, but 3 types of flour may be annoying.
