I travel the world Part 181: Waraku Immermannstrasse
I went to eat Japanese Ramen in Dusseldorf...
I found out that more than 50 people hat the same Idea and I was waiting in this insane line... After waiting 5 minutes and the Line not moving at all, I decided to head over to another Japanese Imbiss I like...
Naniwa Ramen
Insane Waiting Line...
I didn't want to wait so I went to Waraku Imbiss
They offer nice Bento Boxes
And different Onigiris (Japanese Riceballs)
I bought 2 Onigiris for Lunch
The patented System of Onigiri Wrapping Plastik/ Paper (The Nori won't touch the rice so it won't get wet before you eat it)
Salmon Mayo Rice Ball
Never heard of Onigiri?
It was basically the pendant to a Sandwich in Europe or the US. In Japan they didn't have bread until 150years ago so they put a riceball into a Nori Paper. Inside the Riceballs you can put anything you want (Usually its plum, fish etc.). It is yet anther a small and genius tasty invention from Japan.
Did you ever order an Onigiri ???
