There's a correlation with making the decision to move and participate in one moment with opening up and accessing potential ability.

I've been facing this point much throughout my day.

I'm really starting to enjoy the practice and discipline of daily push ups. Gratitude has been an extension of my practice. I take a moment of gratitude prior to commencing with my push ups it's a quick moment of regard for me in body here to share my appreciation with myself as the pleasure in participating - self directing my movement.

Right now I am placing the emphasis on my formation. Really taking the time to explore and get to know optimum technique as the body awareness within and as the motion.

So - right now I am in the process of accumulation with push ups - where it's mostly about substantiating my awareness and exposure to consistently performing 100 push ups daily as a point of physical body nourishment.

I'm continuing with a slow and steady approach of sorts where I do the pushups throughout the day. This is a cool way for me to explore because it keeps me accountable for managing my responsibilities...because if I don't stay on top of my pushups throughout the day it's like creating a build up of consequence for myself. So I make it easy for myself to honor myself. I spend more than enough time in a day sitting down and so to sporadically throughout the day create the time and space for some pushups as a point of body alignment care and cultivation is becoming increasingly a fun way to live.

Many people think push ups just to form a beautiful body. Rarely do people understand that push ups also to form the heart muscle becomes stronger so that blood flow and body metabolism work better.

Okay so seeing your progress with pushups, I got a little jealous and did 25 of my own. Thankfully no aches and soreness.
We'll see where this takes me. I doubt I would be able to best my previous since I suffered an elbow injury a few years ago and my elbow is not what it used to be. Still I have you to thank for the motivation @worldclassplayer

I think the slow and steady approach is the most rewarding and most sustainable. In this regard it's more about "participation" in making moments to support the body. What's opening up for me is the point of "self care". I am also rehabbing an injury. I had ACL surgery 3 weeks ago. So I am slowly working my legs too.

It's almost more of a mind fuck in doing things slowly. It's like our mind wants to move so fast some times...so the very practice of slowing down in body and mind and performing motions is like a real art we are creating as ourselves here. We are sculptors. Every move counts!

Think about how difficult a 30 minute push up would be...to maintain the slow flow of ever so subtly moving through the sequences of performing the completion of 1 push up over the course of 30 minutes.

The minds does a lot of weird things. Sometimes the more time it as to think, more it makes difficult to complete the task.
Mind fuck is quite an apt description for it ;-)
