What do you See?
For myself - I see that my living of the word "commitment" has been a mixed bag of sorts. There's been a way more heavy emphasis on "restricting freedom of action."
Gulp
The new regard emerging here is for myself. To actually cultivate the relationship with myself. To actually create commitments with myself. There's been a few. And the few in place have been rock solid. It's a sort of moment of, "oh - I can create many supportive commitments within myself - for myself." So much of my thinking and perspective has been in separation of my best commitments. Recognizing the importance of the inner work being an ultimate reflection of the outer work.
Practical Living Commitment
I commit myself to harmonizing my internal and external as One Here.
I commit myself to giving/gifting myself the best care.
I commit myself to strength training, developing and maturing my ability to care. I realize my capacity to care for anyone effectively stems from really knowing how to care for and honor myself.

- What I like about this social experiment, is the fact that it's success is directly dependent on the attitude and willingness of ordinary people everywhere - where there's a willingness to say, "Yes - I accept a weekly payment for being a human being to cover my basic costs of Existing Here."
'commit myself to harmonizing my internal and external as One Here' - The best way to get rid of the hypocrisy in oneself (I use this trick for myself, for my own betterment).

You are a wise person that is why you feel it that way or else in today's world the value of the word Commitment is getting lower and lower just because of the way we are using it !

It's good to identify your commitment to yourself because if you are not committed to yourself like you said, you won't be well committed to others. Everything one needs to do have to start from oneself before extending to others, like love for example, if you don't love yourself how will you love others. Nice post
