6th meeting of the São Paulo Faircoop Local Node at Casa Elefante

Greetings from São Paulo to all Earth activists! I'm very late but happy again to announce that in September 18th, 2018 (tuesday night), from 7:00 to 8:50 PM, happened the sixth meeting of the first Faircoop Local Node group in the city.
The meeting had the attendance of Maíra das Neves (@mairadasneves), Marcos Dias (@vikdias) and I (@wagnertamanaha), members who also met in the previous meeting held in September 4th.
Again we followed the talk methodology which helped us to select issues and reach decisions we need so we divided the meeting in 3 parts: initial round, discussion and final round.
In the initial round all members (each one with the same and measured time) told what they expected about our meeting and Faircoop local node. Following what Maíra proposed before, we talked about finishing the statute with priorities, objective and strategies, a necessary item to became a formal Faircoop local node.
In the discussion time we wrote down this statute, which can be linked with the presentation we want to prepare and use in meetings and events to talk about our project. Remembering that our São Paulo local node was already included in the OCP (Open Collaborative Platform) and had a wallet linked to our group, a Faircoin address for collective transactions and to receive donations.

I'd like to take this opportunity to share our São Paulo Faircoop Local Node statute, the result from the meeting on that night. The most recent version is published (in portuguese) in Faircoop's wiki:
At the final round we decided that with the local node statute finished our priority now is prepare a presentation from it. We know that is necessary to include the local node members through a form configured from our OCP (Open Collaborative Platform) account, we are talking with the global Faircoop technical staff to arrange it.
Using the Telegram group we also scheduled the last local node meeting: November 13, 7:00 PM at Casa Elefante.
Visiting the Fungo de Quintal (Backyard Fungus) warehouse
In the previous meeting we decided to visit the warehouse of Fungo de Quintal (Backyard Fungus in portuguese), whose partner Klaus Roedel also participated in some of our assemblies and was the first producer to accept Faircoins selling mushrooms in São Paulo city.

The steemians @felipejoys and @novogel also were interested in knowing our group and showed up, but we had a missmatch and we only met when I was leaving the depot.
Most recently Klaus notified us that would prioritize another project he's involved and won't attend our next local node's meetings. We hope soon having his presence with us again, thank you for all the interest and help until now!
Casa Elefante (Elephant House)
Our 6th meeting of São Paulo Faircoop local node happened once again in Casa Elefante (Elephant House in portuguese), like the previous in 9/4, the fourth in 8/28 and the third one in 8/21. This time, as you can check in the pictures, we could enjoy the exposition Prisão Domiciliar (Home Prison) - An art and domesticity manifesto, by the photographer Emanuela Leite. As we already told, the space mixes art and culture activities, working as a coffee shop, bar and second hand vinil, books and clothes shop.

Near there is located the Instituto Feira Livre, where Maíra made her shopping (as shown in this post first picture) and the place of our local node first meeting and not so far from the Baixo Augusta region, where we had the second meeting. Following the @emanueltakahashi's Facebook updates I saw that he was in a new coworking space near there, the Jardin do Centro (Jardin/Garden of Downtown). I also realized that one of the organizers of the São Paulo Anarchist Fair that happened last sunday, works in the neighbourhood: Centro Cultural Social (Social Cultural Center, founded in 1933). Maybe they would be interested in hear about our Faircoop local node ideas and projects.
