TIME IS THE SECRET TO GROWTH
I saw a post yesterday by @acidyo and how he used to diarise his growth. I thought it was great that there are others out there taking it seriously and look what it did for his account.
We are all going to grow at different rates and as long as you are growing then you have nothing to worry about. This is not a race to the top ,but about achieving what you have set out to do.
We all hold some sort of value and it is a matter of finding where we all fit in. This place is far from easy yet we battle on here very day because we know what tomorrow might bring. This 'might' is what drives all of us to achieve more ,but we can't do it alone. Everyone around you plays a part in your growth and their growth.
@acidyo's post from yesterday got me wandering on how many actually know their growth and do they have targets. The ones that already abandoned the platform most likely had dollar signs and were mislead by greed. More will come and go as they will also fail to understand that accumulationg through engagement is the only way to grow.
My plan is simple and that is to engage with as many people as possible and grow together. This is the only way as your followers increase so does your growth. Steem-ua is correct when they say you need to attract more followers as that is the secret to growth.
Someone could invest 1000's of dollars but will not grow as fast as someone who has been on here a year. They also need to build a following and it will take them time to understand how this place ticks.
Time is the key ingredient in order to grow and the more time you spend on here the quicker you will grow.My breakdown of growth is very interesting and shows the time factor and how you grow organically.Think of a plant it takes time to grow and your account is no different, the users you engage with are your fertilizer (shit ones are good for plants) just make sure they are good ones.
My forst 60 days I only has 15 SP.I was struggling but never gave up and I am sure that is when most would have packed it in. The next sixty days I grew by 105 SP and was starting to get more comfortable as I had an understanding now. The next 60 days I grew by over 800 SP and that is down to time spent on the platform.
For those that read this I hope it helps you understand what you need to do if you have been struggling. I have a lot of new folowers lately and all I can say is struggle on as it will become easier as it only takes time.

I agree, engagement is key, but also important is trying to get your SP up if you can.
Those with tiny accounts can really help themselves by buying in even in small amounts. We don't call it interest, but the inflation protection, combined with increased curation rewards does really matter as your account grows faster and faster when you hold more SP. :)

I haven't. It's just laziness as it get complicated as to which parts are important enough to share.

Hmm interesting insight. Since it's a community driven platfrom, engagement is the key. I've seen that investing a little amount has helped me in the past. I wish I can buy back more and stop powering down once my personal matter finished.
