# We will have scheduled monthly releases Schedule posts - you can now schedule posts through eSteem. This feature requires permission of posting on your behalf by adding esteemapp account into your posting authority. To allow permission you should be logged in with your main password or have posting and active private key during advanced login. This feature is only available for Steem users (not Golos). You can move scheduled post it to draft then reedit or reschedule or remove scheduled posts from Schedules page from left side menu. Push Notification when scheduled post has been published.

Design improvements

Multi-account support, in addition to our last release, we now happy to announce that you can add multiple accounts and use them on eSteem. Multi-account on multi-chain. Login screen have been updated so you can choose chain and login with credentials on that chain. You can add as many account as you like from side menu with Add Account. Note, if you are currently logged in on previous version of eSteem, it would log you out to start multi-account support. After login, account is set as default, you can change your account from side menu as well. Account has indicator (icon) in front of them to indicate on which chain they belong. Selection of other accounts will reload app. To remove account, you just have to logout. Multi-notification, as you have seen in my latest post notification backend got major improvement and with this release we have improved it even more to send notification to multi-accounts on same device. Once you login/add new account you can enable your notifications for active account, be it on Steem or on Golos. You receive notification for all accounts from both chains. Notification title will indicate account that notification belongs. Notification callbacks are also fixed, tapping on notifications will take you to app and specific post/profile. Voting slider, you can quickly change voting weight by tap and hold on voting button, it will bring slider so you can change percentage, it will be saved and kept for you. After changing, just tap anywhere on screen to hide it. All votes moving forward will be using selected weight, if you wish you can tap and hold again to change it or change it from Settings page as per usual. Multi-chain synergy improved, from now on, you don't need to restart app to change your chain. App merely reload itself after change. Reload/Refresh is necessary to update chain connection and update currency. A lot of bug fixes, improvements on websocket changing...

Content discovery improvements

Benefits:
It will be easy to tell what topics this blogger posts about. Currently, there's really no way to see what a specific blogger writes about whithout doing a lot of scrolling. This task becomes even worse if they have a lot of resteemed posts. It will be much easier to find specific type of posts. Many users post very good tutorials about steemit and it's hard to find them because they're not in the top list of posts. Having tags there will allow users to jump directly to them or any other topic.

Communities support

Those of you who doesn't know what Golos is, it is fork of Steem blockchain with its own community and goals, targeting Russian speaking people.

For almost a year eSteem supported both Golos and Steem communities! With recent changes, 2 platforms deciding to move different directions made it difficult to follow changes in both projects. And eSteem had to choose priority platform to move forward and focus development.

Supporting both platforms, soon to be with totally different architecture, is bottleneck for advancement of eSteem project. For that reason, Golos support will be removed from eSteem effective v1.5.1 release.

It will open many opportunities for eSteem as well as help us to improve performance of the application. We believe upcoming communities feature in Steem will open doors to many people with different cultures and background...Thus eSteem can continue to support and help Russian speaking people across the globe.

Gamification improvements

Gamification is the application of game-like elements to areas themselves not technically games. This is also intertwined into the two sections above, because a major quality of games is the quick satisfaction they provide. The simple psychology behind having semi-arbitrary "points" and being able to watch them go up is universally appealing. Even in games where the points don't represent any real monetary value, people get a feeling of fulfillment from accumulating them. How much more so when the points represent actual (though intangible) currencies!

On Steemit
Steemit is already doing pretty well in this area, as many can attest to. I have heard more than one person say they totally quit playing video games when they began blogging on Steemit because it filled the same niche for them! However, there is much room for improvement, especially regarding the Steemit user interface. The lack of front-end displays of current voting power, vote value, appealing animations/sound effects (which should be available, but also able to be quickly toggled on and off) and other graphs/statistics/ "levels" causes the user experience to be more barren than it could be.

It's also inconvenient to have to pull up in separate tabs and learn how to use other services such as Steemd , Steemnow , Steemworld , etc. There are also browser extensions that display this info such as Steem Plus, but not everyone feels comfortable using their private keys in these services. Many probably don't mind Steemit as it currently is, and there should be the option to turn some of these new features off for those that enjoy a more bare-bones/minimalistic experience. However, for the average person, increased gamification will greatly improve their aesthetic experience on Steemit and make many more eager to invest their time, energy, currency.

# On-boarding improvements Companies that integrate existing and future technologies into their onboarding process are far more likely to retain their employees at all levels. But, in addition to this, providing your new hires with a fulfilling onboarding experience will go a long way to increasing their productivity and overall job satisfaction.

An onboarding process
at any company can always be improved, but it really depends on how far the HR team is willing to go. When you think about it, technology makes streamlining this process far easier.

For example, the amount of paperwork you can cut out from your onboarding process is staggering. This gives us a rough idea of the impact the right technology can make to your onboarding process.

So, if you’re wondering what is onboarding technology, we’re here to help. We’ve identified 3 useful tips to add to your new employee checklist so that you can start to make improvements today.

SMT support

SMTs...

  • increase demand for STEEM as the blockchain's bandwidth token
  • attract new capital to the ecosystem with ICOs
  • tie up STEEM supply with Automated Market Makers
  • create new utility for STEEM with Influence Sharing
  • become a big part of "Steem: the world's advertising network"

Desktop application pre-release

Web app is in a ways can be viewed as wallet just like desktop app. Which will be focused on features to give you full control of your account. That's one distinction of eSteem desktop/wallet compare to other user interfaces on Steem that it will be mainly focused on give you all features. Some of you may have heard that certain feature is only possible via cli_wallet but with eSteem desktop and web wallet app goal is to give you access to those features without technical/development skills.
