Go Fund Me or Whatever...
Home from the hospital now, the reality of our situation is dawning on us - we can't work. We have bills to pay...and we need to eat food and keep a roof over our heads... i am pretty sure we are going to make it ok - but i still have to do what I can to find resources.
Being less hurt than K - I am going to go up to his house on Thursday and take care of him - feed him. He fessed up today that he has been only eating cereal for days - breathing hurts, yawning hurts - my pelvis is fractured but it's not as bad as him. He has 3 dogs and 3 fish tanks and a bunch of plants to keep watered so he left the hospital early to go home - and here I am sitting in my high-falootin wheel chair - but I can go up there and take care of him and get my exercises in and be ok with sleeping alone in the bed while he sits in the recliner and sleeps. Yup. That's the story.
Here I am - asking for help - because now after the accident on April 10, K and I have no income for the next 3 months until we heal and can go back to work.
So - if you feel like it - either by the Go Fund Me or via Crypto that I can cash out - that would be very helpful...

How about starting by connecting with Social Security and your local social work office to see what benefits and entitlements are already there for you to tap into? Especially in western countries there is so much you can access, if you know how and where. Good luck.

yes I am waiting for that call back for the phone appointment but I am not permanently disabled so it is likely to go no where. The city has "emergency" cash benefits but without the ssd application, I can't move forward on that.
