Teaching my mother jiu-jitsu and self-defense :) Some really bonding moments recorded :)
Yepp :) It happened several days ago as we were warming up after out cryochamber therapy which I've vlogged about HERE. I've saw some tatami in the corner and asked my mother if she wants to see some BJJ moves. I thought it'll be like 3 minutes max. But she was totally into it and we've spent 15 minutes going over 5 various basic techniques. It was just sooo cool! We have both totally different mindsets and worldviews so it was supercool to finally bond doing something together. I tooootally enjoyed it and I believe she did as well. Also, cuz of various injuries and health problems, I haven't propery trained since February and I'm just a 2 stripe whitebelt haha soo bear with me if I do stuff incorrectly.

That is such a cool video!!!! I love how your mom just flows with it ahahah she is in shape!! I would have been afraid to break my mom lol...and I love how she keeps going after you tap at the kimura ahahah she's not letting it go LOL. Very nice video, I hope you get a nice dtube vote for this!
Haha yepp yepp :D But the truth is, I forgot her to explain the concept of tap :D And kimura was actually the first one :D So she had nooooo idea she should lemme go :D But I was tapping early enough anyway :D
And regarding dtube upvote :D I think the platformed ditched me right around the time you came over from DLive hahaha :D Soo I guess you've taken my spot of favorite creators :D Im not giving up thooo, will take it back hahahah :D

Spreading the word of STEEMit and BJJ can't be done wrong except when you are not doing it. You can work on your details when you get back training. All that matters is you spent some good family time and your mom learned something new and effective.

Heh I'm just a 2 stripe whitebelt - 1 intensive year in (2017) :D And on top of that, cuz of knee injury from skiing and then plantar wart on my heel, Im not training from February this year :/ except for 3 weeks between those 2 issues. But wart is gone now, just to heal the hole in my foot and I'm ready to go againnnn :) I'm doing boxing in the meantime but it aint that much fun at all compared to bjj.
Edit: there's no BJJ club in my hometown :/ I'm studying in Innsbruck and this is back home in Slovakia
I did muay thai before bjj but this is quite some time ago. I feel also that bjj is more fun.
Too bad with the club and with the injusries but good you are back rolling soon.
Nevertheless that boxing is not this much fun, what is good for your body is good for your bjj my trainer said. I think he is right
