All of us here in the Steemiverse know that the community is more than just the platforms we use to add our content on to the blockchain. The Steemiverse is deeper than most realize and The Steem Terminal is here to get you to your next destination on your Steem adventures. So please make sure your luggage is tagged correctly, your trays are in the upright position, and your mind is set for success!

Often times people who are new to the Steem world do not understand exactly what the blockchain and have no clue what to do with this place once the new account is approved. This causes them to become overwhelmed and, most often, disappear. They feel lost in the crowd, confused by not having someone to ask questions of, and knows there is a community, but are unable to find one. We lose too many people because of this and it is for this reason @brittandjosie, @thekittygirl and I created the Steem Terminal.

The Steem Terminal is a place Steemians can find information concerning the very basic how-to's of steem and discord, a place to find real-time answers from real people who are able to do more than just a possible out of date article, and help them find the perfect steem-discord mentoring community. This enables them to feel a little more confident as they move between the two levels of the Steem Community.

This discord server is not in competition with any other mentoring community. We are, however, here to help the new user find the right community for them and, while doing so, helping them to learn the basics of the Steem blockchain and how to maneuver through discord enabling them to attend shows, parties, and make new friends with everyone around the world.

We so need this! Glad you care about the newbies. I'm not always sure why I didn't leave in the beginning, and now it's only harder for them.

Thank you so very much @dreemsteem. I wasn't quite sure how to let people know we were a place to get information to them and have them pass through to other groups. We are definitely not wanting to have people think we are trying to take from the other groups. We want to make this place a stonger platform and I think it is a good for us all to share.

This is such a great initiative.
I'm here to ask for your help actually. I've set up a new delegation contest for people who have 60sp or lower, but it's pretty confronting to find out how I've lost touch with the newcomers... I have only 1 candidate after 2 days and even that one was by nomination.
