A snowy drive in the uk with @c0ff33a
We have been very fortunate in Yorkshire during the past weeks freezing cold weather, while it did show minus 7 degrees celcius in my car Thursday morning, we avoided the worst of the snow which blocked roads and stranded cars.
This is my Friday morning commute to work, while there is not much snow - the freezing conditions made the trees look particularly good with a frosty white coating

Seems a lot of snow for England. Lots of traffic and the snow didn’t stop people from walking about.

We have like 0-3c so warmer again and no snow.. Lol

Okay, you can keep that weather for sure - it’s making me cold thinking about it. How do cars handle that sort of extreme cold? Do you have to do anything special to keep them running?

All vehicles don't handle the cold well at all. Lots of oil leaks show up and the starting/charging system and batteries are taxed to their limits. We have block heaters on the engines too( plug in to house power to warm the engine block before starting engine.)

I never lived up North so never encountered too many problems with snow. I can only recall a few occasions where it was fairly dicey on the roads.
They had it really bad down the south west area of the uk, stranded vehicles and blocked motorways even!
