Hello fellow Steemians !

Welcome to a new edition of my original "Bikes of Burden" collection. As before, I would like to show you a few funny transports as you can see them here every day (with some luck). Today, all pictures have something to do with the letter "B". In order not to lose time, let us start:

Hallo Liebe Steemians!

Willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe meiner original "Bikes of Burden" Kollektion. Auch heute möchte ich euch wieder ein paar lustige Transport zeigen wie man sie hier täglich (mit etwas Glück) sehen kann. Heute haben alle Bilder etwas mit dem Buchstaben „B“ zu tun. Um keine Zeit zu verlieren, lasst uns anfangen:

B as in BANANA PLANT

B wie BANANENSTAUDE

Here is a funny transport of a banana plant which is here in Vietnam used for the production of banana blossom salad. Tastes really wonderful. However, our friend here must be careful that he also arrives with the whole product intact and not lose the tasty flowers hitting a fence.

Hier ein lustiger Transport einer Bananenpflanze welche hier in Vietnam zur Herstellung von Bananenblütensalat verwendet wird. Schmeckt wirklich wunderbar. Unser Freund hier muss aber aufpassen, dass er auch mit der ganzen Ware ankommt und nicht die schmackhaften Blüten an einem Zaun verliert.

Here is the betel nut which is oftenused in Vietnam. It is halved and then wrapped in a leaf, immersed in limestone powder and then chewed in your mouth. It is terribly bitter and discolors your teeth black. With many old Vietnamese you can observe these black teeth. The teeth are said to be very strong, but the color makes the whole thing rather unattractive.

Hier die in Vietnam oft verwendete Betelnuss. Sie wird of halbiert und dann in ein Blatt eingewickelt, in Kalk getaucht und dann im Mund zerkaut. Es ist fürchterlich bitter und verfärbt die Zähne schwarz. Bei vielen alten Vietnamesen kann man diese schwarzen Zähne beobachten. Die Zähne werden angeblich sehr stark dadurch, aber die Farbe macht das ganze eher unattraktiv.

These folded and stacked beds are very popular in Vietnam. As a lot of families live together in the narrowest space, it is advantageous to have mattresses which can be folded and stowed during the day

Diese zusammengeklappten und aufgestapelten Betten sind sehr beliebt in Vietnam. Da viel Familien auf engsten Raum zusammenleben, ist es vorteilhaft Matratzen zu haben die sich tagsüber gut falten und verstauen lassen

This flower transport is particularly beautiful. It almost looks like a green island is on the road. Perhaps it is also a way to filter the dirty air, one does not know.

Dieser Blumentransport ist ganz besonders schön. Es sieht fast so aus als ob sich eine grüne Insel auf der Straße befindet. Vielleicht ist es auch ein Weg die schmutzige Luft zu filtern, man weiß es nicht.

The transport of these drums always carries a certain risk. Often there is left over food stored in these drums, which will be used as animal feed. For me it is therefore not only dangerous to travel behind these transports, but also a most interesting smell experience. Choke.

Der Transport von diesen Fässern trägt immer eine gewisse Gefahr mit sich. Oft befinden sich in den Fässern Essensreste die als Tierfutter verwendet werde. Für mich ist es daher nicht nur gefährlich hinter diesen Transporten herzufahren, sondern auch ein meist interessantes Geruchserlebnis. Würg.

Bottle transports are also seen very often. Usually one hears these mopeds very well, because with each small pot hole one hears the strumming of the bottles. This is also a possibility to draw attention to you.

Flaschentransporte sieht man auch sehr oft. Meist hört man diese Mopeds sehr gut, denn bei jedem kleinen Schlagloch hört man das klimpern der Flaschen. Das ist auch eine Möglichkeit auf sich aufmerksam zu machen.

Finally, a great transport from an indefinable product. The driver seems to be almost crushed by her merchandise but as I have mentioned many times. Vietnam knows the "economy of scale".

Zum Schluss noch ein toller Transport von einem undefinierbaren Produkt. Die Fahrerin scheint von Ihrer Ware fast zerdrückt zu werden aber wie ich schon oft erwähnt habe. Vietnam kennt die „Economy of Scale“.
