English
Hello fellow Steemians !
Welcome to another edition of my original "Bikes of Burden" Collection. I hope you had a nice weekend. Today, it is market day. Markets in Vietnam work a little different compared to the western world, because they come in all different sizes and shapes and you would be amazed what can be sold from the back seat of a motorbike. Today, I will show you some awesome "Mobile Markets".
ENJOY !!!

Hallo liebe Steemians!
VIEL SPASS!!!
** MOBILE MARKET **
THE KITCHEN GAS MARKET
DER KÜCHENGAS MARKT
Let's begin with the transport and sale of kitchen gas. Many kitchens in Vietnam still use gas to cook. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see sellers of gas bottles. One of these transports I show you in this picture. I think, it is hard to make this transport less unsafe. Perhaps one day I will see one of these guys flying by me, on a gas bottle.
THE FLOWER MARKET
DER BLUMENMARKT
Let's continue with the flower market. This is one of the most frequent transports in Vietnam. Vietnamese people love flowers. Usually, they are sold directly from the bike or even more often from the bicycle. Bargaining is a must with these flower women.
THE BIRD MARKET
DER VOGELMARKT
The mobile bird market is something particularly crazy. Rarely one drives behind chirping birds. Often, the Vietnamese bring their birdcages to a meeting place and then you see about 20 birds singing songs to each other and their owners, who are enjoying the scene together. An interesting experience that you must have seen.
THE BASKET MARKET
DER KORB MARKT
Here is a great sight of a basket market. Usually, these baskets are sold at flower shops to make flower arrangements. How many baskets this guy has loaded is hard to estimate. Enough to supply a large flower shop with new goods. That's for sure.
THE MEAT MARKET
DER FLEISCHMARKT
One of my favorite mobile markets is the good old fresh meat market. Often I ask myself, how many different kinds of contamination a pig's half can absorb in the course of the transport. Then I try to forget it quickly and go for lunch..
THE POPCORN MARKET
DER POPCORNMARKT
A great sight are the sellers of popcorn and elephant buggers (peanut flips) in Vietnam. The huge volume of plastic bags filled with these snacks makes the riders fairly unbalanced. A secret wish of mine is to drive through popcorn rain. Perhaps I should carry a small knife with me.
THE CERAMIC MARKET
DER KERAMIKMARKT
I chose this mobile ceramic market as the last picture. Often you can even see motorcycles with 2m large vases, which are fastened on both sides of the motorcycle. A dangerous thing, but nice to look at.
I hope I gave you a small view into the interesting mobile markets in Vietnam and hope you enjoyed this episode. Many of my followers seem to really like my blogs and come back on a regular basis.
