English
Hello fellow Steemians !
Welcome to another edition of my original "Bikes of Burden" Collection. Today, I chose another interesting topic for you. Today we are talking about "Relocation” in Vietnam. Vietnam found a way to make moving stuff from A to B that is scary and funny at the same time. So please enjoy and be in awe.
ENJOY !!!

Hallo liebe Steemians!
Also genießt die folgenden Bilder.
VIEL SPASS
THE BENCH
DIE BANK
Here is a new way to transport a bench, just flip it up and see how you can balance it through the city. Well at least he is not using up a lot of read space, but it sure looks dangerous a hell... On a more interesting note, Vietnamese people usually prefer wooden furniture, even for the living room. They say its cooler in the summertime. Lots of families still don't have air condition, so this probably makes sense.
THE BEDROOM CABINET
DER SCHLAFZIMMERSCHRANK
Here is a good way to transport a bedroom cabinet... just strap it to the side of your scooter and balance it out, should be easy right... well I remember this guy having a really hard time to stay straight with so much one-sided weight .
THE MATTRESS
DIE MATRATZE
Mattresses are a relatively new thing in Vietnam. Traditionally, people just sleep on a raised wooden frame that is covered with a bamboo mesh. Nothing for a western back as we grew up in a soft bed with feather blankets.
THE KITCHEN CABINET
DER KÜCHENSCHRANK
Here is part of a kitchen being transported to its new location. The guy in the back needs 110% trust in the driver, one wrong move and his head goes straight through the glass. Luckily he is wearing a helmet...Safety First.
THE BONSAI TREE
DER BONSAI BAUM
This is one of the pictures that is really nice to look at. Vietnam has a long history of growing Bonsai Trees. Some of them are so valuable, that you can buy a house for it. Most of the Bonsai trees are very old and have little decorations and figures attached to them.
THE SIDE BOARD
DIE ANRICHTE
This is one is another classic example of: "Too long to transport... well lets give it a try!". I am 100% sure that this piece of furniture will surly hit the pavement if the guy would not use his body weight to have some kind of counterweight. Well at least he tries to protect it from the sun, rain and dust...
ART
Kunst
What would a move be without the transport of you most valuable art pieces. I am sure the owner of this picture must be so proud. Nothing better than a pair of loving peacocks in a bamboo forest, carried by a semi-blind guy...

Da sind echt lustige Schnappschuesse dabei! Ich bin seit ca. 10 Monaten in Asien. Solche Situationen kenne ich daher nur zu gut. Ein Foto davon zu knipsen habe ich aber leider noch nicht geschafft :)))
