My dad loved elephants. So much so that everyone he befriended would gift him figurine elephants. He had an enormous collection - probably close to a thousand - all of which I still have. I have no idea what I'm going to do with all of them.

Suddenly the purpose of this character in Finding Nemo makes so much sense.

If they are ivory they could be valuable.
There's only one piece I know for sure is made of ivory, and it's a carved tusk. I'm not terribly proud that he owned that one. In fact, without looking at it, I'm not completely convinced it isn't wood.
