Does This Pain Feel Familiar by @zyzymena is such a strong piece of poetry. She makes use of alliteration and metaphor like a master, and I adore her use of literary terms (it makes my little English teacher heart happy)
The moon shines like a frantic lightbulb, the stars are hidden away.
Planets laugh at my restlessness and my brain spins quick again.
Ignorance is the Cousin of Not Giving A Shit by @blacklux is a master at heart-rending imagery, plus plays with catch phrases in a way that makes me smile despite the seriousness of the subject.
She keeps vacuuming the carpet's nap
till it all faces in the same direction.
My Mother is Sick, A Maniac by @wakeupkitty is an interesting look into the mind of someone with OCD, told in the form of a narrative poem.
frozen in hindsight
each shadow a hinge in my mind
crawling towards a circus of epiphanies
the ringmaster hungover
while the bars on a trapeze
swing idle
Out of Sync by @torico is supposedly an unfinished poem, but I love it for it's rawness.

So that it can break us
Before we even realize we’re alone
A Short Poem by @phoenixwren is short but powerful- I have felt these things before, and her description of "the system" was particularly insightful.

The creative writing tab isn't as abused as the poetry tag- often people use the tag for things that aren't poetry. I'm finding that the people who are using the creative writing tag are using it correctly, and have really high quality work!
