In this post, Project Curie, it's been suggested to form other curation teams. Stellar idea.

I propose a curation team with the purpose to simply share, promote and add value to good content, not necessarily to try to distribute the Steem economy to people not getting the dollar recognition as Project Curie does. That would be a happy side-effect though. We will likely be a swarm of minnows.

Together we can make things happen!

What's the plan?

• Add comments; discussion and some feedback (eg. maybe they need more pics or to brush up the formatting)
• Upvote, of course. Let the team know. Operation Upvote!
• We will use this post and start others to link to recommended content. Add a few reasons why you think it should get the attention. Also use those posts to suggest subjects that you'd like to see content about. Tag any new posts: steemstellarpost and/or tag: operationupvote (easy to recall I think)

What's good content? Who's our prey?

• Posts that have good discussions, a good amount of replies, already gettin' some minnow votes
• Good content is good content. It doesn't have to be mind-altering
• Someone who's posting lots but not getting much notice

The important thing is objectivity:

It doesn't matter if we don't find a topic of a post personally interesting, dont like the poster's previous stuff or their point of view, politics, religion etc. or even if we've had arguments and bad words with the poster.
Keep it singular. Stick to the mission.
Look at the post for what it is.

Then there's the more insidious...maybe a post makes us a bit jealous that we didnt think of the topic or can't write, draw, dance like that...and part of us...the dark side...doesn't want the author to get noticed; Banish these thoughts!
