Cool Stuff Curation: Cool Steemit Blog Enhancements & Resources + New Steemian Spotlight
I've been helping a number of my friends get oriented to the platform, and in the process, my interest has piqued for cool stuff posted to help folks enhance the look of their blogs. Rather than saving this for next week, I decided to just go for it today. Curation is so fun.

TOP 20 Websites To Get Free Stock Images For Commercial Use (Steemit, Websites, Blogs, Artworks)
@mightymicke showcases 20 websites with free images for commercial use. This is great, because it provides a super valuable resource to have all of these sites vetted and compiled in one place. Much thanks to MightyMicke for putting in the legwork to round these up for us.

Voting habits of the top 200 Whales - SteemitSQL Analysis
@paulag dives deep into the data to show us the raw-and-dirty details on when and what the whales are voting for. I was surprised. This info may or not be useful to you, but I love some good data, and this post definitely fulfills that bill. At least provides some interesting insight to what the whales deem valuable, as well as when they're voting at their peak.
How to Use @randowhale!
@randowhale is a boost service I've been using a lot lately on both my own posts, as well as the posts of my friends/up-and-coming n00bs who have some seriously undervalued blogs. For only 1SBD, you can help boost posts in varying amounts. I've never had it payout less than what I paid in, and there are usually bonus votes attached. Very cool way to help out others on Steemit even if your SP is low, and your vote isn't worth much.
Remember to POWER UP to get your vote slider, to earn curation rewards, and to be able to further help other Steemians with your vested upvotes!
How to show your own Steemitboard signature
@playfulfoodie provides us with literal code you can copy/paste/replace with your screen name to get a nice footer for your posts displaying your @steemitboard stats! Very cool. I've got mine displayed at the bottom of this post, and hope you head over to this post and grab the code for yourself.
@riosparada makes really cool Steemit logo-based images that are free to copy and use in your own blog.
Steemit-based images are good to use, especially if you promote your posts on other forms of social media, as they also advertise the platform directly as well as your posts.
Here are a couple of cool examples. Be sure to follow @riosparada for regularly-released new images!

I can't thank you enough for this post! There is so much to learn and I've been so perplexed by so many things here. I can not understand how people that joined the same time as I did are so far ahead with (and I hate to say it outloud) some shabby content.
In the end I'm here because I enjoy it as I was off of all social media for a couple years as it all seemed kind of icky... Steemit rocks and I believe in it. I've found new people that I really dig and totally enjoy the community aspect with some of the other artist here... so the steemit power thing is kind of second for me, however, I would love to see my post get a bit more a due as I put in real effort with some pretty good content (imo).
