It's not my intention to make an advertisement for the Weiss Ratings and all the stuff they offer, but I recommend to read Juan Villaverde's new article about privacy coins:

He is expaining in this article why cryptocurrencies are important and how they could help to stabilize the financial system.
The second part explains why privacy coins are important because the total transperancy of the blockchain has also negative sides (for example in malicious regimes).

It's an article definitely worth reading!
