Singapore is one of the leading trade and financial hubs in the world.
Ripple launches it new office in the country after its recent launch in India.
Ripple has a goal to connect global banks on a blockchain to allow fast and inexpensive remittance.
Choosing Singapore as a base in Asia is a notable move for Ripple as the country is remarkably seen as the gateway for both traders and travelers in Asia.
A Possible End to Chinese ICO Ban may happen on the October 8th Comunist Congress Election
New elections to the chief seats of the Chinese government within the Communist Party will take place this October 18, 2017.
The election is not democratic but will be done internally in the Communist Party.
To China and most countries in the world, new elections could mean substantial change in the government. These changes in China could reflect a change in monetary policies.
The election will include the retiring of the 5 out of 7 current members of Politburo, the major governing body of the government in China.
As to ICOs, there is a possibility that the new government might reverse the ICO and exchange ban.
According to some commentaries, there may be political motives to the ban that will make it unneeded after the elections are done.
