Arizona Will Soon Accept Bitcoin For Income Tax Payment

On February 08, 2018, the Arizona state passed a Bill that would allow its citizens to pay their income tax using Bitcoin, plus any other cryptocurrencies that have been approved by the state's revenue officers.

However, this Bill will not come into effect yet until the year 2020.

The Bill's intention is to tell everyone in the country or probably the whole world that Arizona is open for blockchain and cryptocurrency technology.

This Bill is the very first that signifies the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies in the US.

interesting summary ... the part where it starts to treat as money is probably less good ... as long as its goods its just an exchancge of goods, if its an accepted currency then in a country like mine they probably take 15-40% but i have no clue how that would reflect on an asset that fluctuates that bad... would be like taxing open forex trades, you pay $500 and the next day it goes down you only have $250 left ... poly-ethicians moneygrubbing nightmare :p

sig (well im not a bot, i only have one account and the sig needs some altering ... im also not as bad of a lunatic as i might come over or however that translates to english)

We are going to see Huge price jumps in Litecoin and Nano this week

its time for some new stuff to enter the main markets at prices normal people can afford imo ... its kinda hard to buy in if you're a poor bum (like me-)

Yes Bitcoin started the cryptocurrency game but there is better, faster and cheaper coins on the market now that will soon take over Bitcoin..

My thoughts are inside the next 2 years we will see NANO take some big leaps to pass up Bitcoin..

Lots of people are still holding their Bitcoin from day 1 and when they jump ship we will start seeing some huge drops on Bitcoin and start seeing massive pumps in NANO and LTC

let's hope so ... too many people have been holding on to too much BTC for too long. It might be crypto but as currency it's still important, economy-wise, that it flows, not piles or stagnates. Money never spent is fairly useless as a whole. If i had enough clout to start one up id try one myself. And there's plenty. One big player i see that's not using it is Gabe Newell / Steam. They have a platform and tons of users. Incorporating something like steamcoin as an option for idle / forum / market / whatever interaction cant be that hard and would give extra incentive. Its not all about the money. But a little more doesnt hurt imo
